I personally feel like Shinobi Strikers would’ve been better if 1) There was no class system and instead you’d pick a certain clan, village, chakra nature, etc to limit the Jutsu you can learn. A class system just doesn’t seem fitting for a Naruto game and it limited things unnecessarily. Would’ve allowed canon characters to have more authentic movesets too. 2) Custom modes so we can play how we want with our friends 3) Story mode
Bro I say get it. Especially if it’s free or cheap to you. You can have fun with base game stuff. Obviously the other stuff is a bit better and flashier but you can earn scrolls and it’s about getting lucky and spending the scrolls on only your role type or what you will use, not every SS item.
@@Not4clonemodding isn’t as big of a problem as it used to be to be. Every once in a while you run into some corny people though. And you don’t have to gamble your money. You can buy DLC and know exactly what you’re getting, that’s not gambling. You can earn Esoterics you just have to be choosing of what’s worth it or not for you and your play style.
You don’t have to spend your esoteric on the dogs. You can get A and S dogs. I don’t think the grade affects boosts. So if you have a S or A medic hound you’ll heal just as much as a SS.

@Echo-nn8dt yeah but there is only so much variety between 3 types of dog and some characters have different ascetics that a dog doesn't fit as much. A bird and a cat would cover many bases.
@@Solorflare99 we will get more summons eventually (the shop says September). They said their plans in the dev letter so I’m assuming by the time we get the next set of SS+ weapons between September -December.
I can’t wait to ride the other animals like frogs that can have their own chakra jump or snakes that you can attack with and that do poison damage and for like ss they add the actual summon skins like gamabunta since the model and ground work is already in game
@Echo-nn8dt yeah, the two biggest problems with the Claw Edge is the loopable heavy attack which causes infinite sub locks, and the disjointed ass hotbox on the move. I'd honestly be okay with the hit box being as dogshit as it is right now if they just changed the heavy attack to cause a hard knockdown off of it instead of being loopable.

the dogs being in every slot is fine, you don't have to use them, much like how you have to equip a ninja tool or an outfit, same thing the real issue is those SS+ weapons and higher tier hounds. plus I think we need more vr missions

i returned to play this game on pc, turns out quickmatch is desert but other modes there's actually people. and i was "why there's a new "jutsu" icon? and now i found out...
I honestly gave up on the PS4 version. The servers are ungodly terrible. Last couple of Survival matches I did weeks ago, most of the time I would get disconnected at the fucking end of the match. Including ones where I placed 1st.
@@DynamicSaiyan sounds about right when I try to play with my friend who’s on ps4 we can only play one match together before it crashes for him. Rinse and repeat it’s annoying as hell and gonna kill the player base on ps4
It's interesting how this game is still going. From what I remember back when it first released, it was somewhat positively received by fans, but didn't seem like it would be sticking around for that long. I know it got season passes and some updates, but that's all I know of when it comes to post launch. Not sure if it's worth dipping into now.
Shinobi wasn’t that respected at first but over time the community grew majorly and it’s actually become a good game for the casual experience for the ppl say it’s p2w it’s nr maybe the dlc would make it better but the base game gives u scrolls to get the good weapons and the combat system is pretty good

I get how the dog makes the game different but don’t think the mandatory equip is a issue since it’s a d pad use you can always simply not use it my last match nobody used there dog at all and it was fine my biggest problem is the SS equipment that I can’t get without paying 40 bucks for summons

Ngl, i'm an og get since the beta, and I thought I would never get rid of the game, had pretty much all the dlc, but after the sasori dlc I felt it was time and got rid of the game due to constantly running into Meta builds and builds that guarantee w's. If there is a Shinobi 2 I might try it but I wouldn't be happy unless problems are directly addressed

I get that you can have "non-Uchiha" characters wielding Sharingan in one slot and another clan ability in another, but it took a while for me to even get used to that. WIth dogs it just feels like they added an unnecessary gimmick that everyone now has to get used to. I don't understand why dogs couldn't be a ninjutsu slot with some creative implementation to make it worth it.
Naw he’s right. Some of the best jutsu in the game are base game. Almighty push, Teleportation jutsu, cellular extraction, slug, mud wall don’t require dlc. Ain’t hard to compete without dlc when base game have some crazy moves.

Looks like the only things that counter it are full on secret techniques; which if you have to counter the fast charging jutsu with a whole ult then the other guy likely won the exchange. The moves one of the best options in base battle because you can pretty much always have it up and it explodes knocking everyone on base off it while reseting justu.

Shinobi striker was pay to win for awhile bruh. Not because of dlc characters because every dlc characters is free to use. But its the OP moves that are locked behind a paywall that makes it pay to win. Like a new player using only the base game abilities is at a MASSIVE disadvantage compared to players who have bought certain DLC packs.
Also the dog is trash they LITERALLY TOOK no time to add these duplicates in Naruto related look mutts into this game. Took them maybe 5 mins to come u faith this. Very depressing.
Sorry about one thing I did find out you can't unclip dogs I have three and I can't unclip them that's not fair man he does have a point on the dog thing would be nice to unclip them if you don't want to have them on your team

It's annoying login into the room and being insta-killed by ultimate technique :\ at the start of the battle... and it repeats over and over until the game ends...also love other kinds of cheaters - those that freaking fly around the map throwing their huge star that locks you out until you fall to your doom...ant they keep throwing those until you either die or fall into the pit...they also have infinite HP and killing them practically impossible (you can try counter them with some top DLC ultimates, but you will lose anyway, because they kill your whole team every time you get close

I mean you get 3 dog types and each rank has different stats. We will get another summon in September

I use to enjoy playing this game. I got it on release and i stop playing it 7 months ago. I just got tired of the hackers.
i stopped playing it 8 months ago and came back to it 1 month ago but now i odnt play it everyday, playing it lightly does the trick
and never use broken builds, use fun ones and dont play too much then u cant get bored
