I just started Bass fishing recently (I'm mostly a salt water guy) and I've found a ton of channels on TH-cam for tutorial content. Yours stands out for the quality, knowledge, and entertainment and I look forward to watching more of your videos.
I started throwing a paddle tail in some very heavily pressured waters and its so fun when me and my brother (13 and 12) are catching bass and theres 40 year old men trying to see what we are using!
Our top 3 swimbaits are #1 Keitech Easy Shiner or Swing Impact, #2 Megabass Hazedong Shad #3 Jackall Rhythm Wave. Good tips you gave out. Tight lines from BFG
Yet again I type a question to research and I go to your content. Thanks for providing the insight I needed man! Us new guys in the TH-cam scene really feed of yalls stuff!
TylersReelFishing Maybe do a top 5 lures you use for ponds in each season. Since were coming up on spring here in Florida, you could do a video about top 5 baits for ponds in the spring. Maybe even do a series on it for all the seasons.
TylersReelFishing a 30 min video at least breaking down different types ponds using different lures and techniques for certain times of the year and different visibilities. Maybe 3 all around rod and reel combos for ponds that works for all around the year. Just a suggestion your channel is still 🔥
Really enjoy your content, Tyler. You are definitely the kindest, most encouraging angler on TH-cam and those of us who need to be uplifted really appreciate you. Looking forward to your Florida videos coming up! I follow you on Instagram, too.
Finally started catching bass now that I can switch rigs and bait confidently and quickly and my most consistent bait is white rage swimmer Texas rigged or on a jig head or weighted hook. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Tyler.
What would be the number 1 bait you'd fish for the rest of your life? Btw, my buddy met you up at Cayuga. He said you're super humble and chill AF. Keep up the good work man!
The best part about TRF is the lack of gimmicks and little kid challenged. Just hits you with knowledge and straight fishing, but doesn’t take himself TOO seriously. This channel is where it’s at. By far the fishing channel I look forward to watching the most.
I love the Rage Tail Swimmers. I dip the tails in almost every application that I use them in. Does it really make a difference? IDK, the bass have big mouths but they ain't talking. Lol
Hey Tyler theres a high pressure pond in Kennedale I have caught 1-2 pounders in and I believe that there has to be some hogs in there under the edge that has a ton of grass, any suggestions on how to get to them.
It's funny now that I think about it. The very first Bass that I caught was caught using a paddle tail swim bait. I slowly got away from using it for some reason.
So you say if you only had to use one bait the swim bait would be a close second what would be your first bait? Pretty much what would be your one bait fishing for fun and what would be your one bait for a survival if you had to fish to eat?
Never don’t have a keitech easy shiner tied on. One 3 inch for getting confidence and a 4 for slab hunting. Other than that I’ll have a Texas rig a frog or jig tied on
im confused on what color to get. I live in florida and the water isn’t too clear. I know shad is a common feeder fish but there are like four different shad colors. Can someone please help me.
The reel I always leave blank on the gear ratio, cause it’s totally up to you how fast you wanna reel, but the rods always have the specs just before the link. They are in parentheses
Jj the sauce there’s nothing wrong with his voice, but your negative, disparaging comment shows exactly how rude you are and how you need to examine your heart.. Maybe you should take a few minutes to think about what your words do to other people. You have the power for good and for evil, to bring people up or to bully them. Contemplate before you comment and/or say things to your friends and anyone you come in contact with in the future.
2 MINUTE INTRO ON A 13 MINUTE VIDEO... IF YOU LOOK AT THE MORE SUCCESSFU CHANNELS THEIR LEAD IN IS 15 SECONDS OR LESS... i LOVE THE INFORMATION YOU ARE PUTTING OUT BUT I DON'T WANT TO SIT THROUGH A 2 MINUTE INTRO EVERY EXPISODE...
I use so many swimbaits it nuts. I love'em. So versatile people just don't realize.
Not only for bass fishing , great to throw to catch just about any predatory fish .
Quality material as always. Wouldn't expect anything less. You're killing it on your channel man. I watch every minute. 🤜🤛
Appreciate it Ken!

Absolutely! Those Paddletail swimbaits are awesome, and very versatile, it's usually the first thing I throw, unless I'm frog fishing.

Love me some Rage Swimmers. I use them all the ways you suggested except Alabama Rigging. Smallies up here love them on a jighead.

Thanks for asking this question. It's why I'm in the comments 🫵
Love your videos man taught me may tips and tricks
so what is your favorite fishing lure Tyler?
The best part about TRF is the lack of gimmicks and little kid challenged. Just hits you with knowledge and straight fishing, but doesn’t take himself TOO seriously. This channel is where it’s at. By far the fishing channel I look forward to watching the most.
Man, this comment means so much to me🙌🏼 People like you are the reason I do this thing
Solid video and always great info!👍
I love the Rage Tail Swimmers. I dip the tails in almost every application that I use them in. Does it really make a difference? IDK, the bass have big mouths but they ain't talking. Lol
I find in dirty water it can help. And especially for saltwater applications
@@TylersReelFishing That and the fact that the main forage in the ponds I fish are Gills.
good for spotted sea trout redfish and snook too.

It's funny now that I think about it. The very first Bass that I caught was caught using a paddle tail swim bait. I slowly got away from using it for some reason.
Get back to it!
3.75 Rage swimmer is hands down my favorite bait. It’s become a problem actually lol
Haha nice. Great problem to have
Great information and content... as always ++
Great video
Great video my friend!!!Awesome tips !!!👍👍👍
👍🏼
I got a 10 pound bass with a soft swim bait on some lay downs in lake keowee
That’s a huge fish for that lake!
Is lews owned by strike king?
Lew’s bought Strike King and then partnered up with a merchant banker
So you say if you only had to use one bait the swim bait would be a close second what would be your first bait?
Pretty much what would be your one bait fishing for fun and what would be your one bait for a survival if you had to fish to eat?
If I had to guess I'm going to say a stick bait will be one of your choices
Jig. 100%
Never don’t have a keitech easy shiner tied on. One 3 inch for getting confidence and a 4 for slab hunting. Other than that I’ll have a Texas rig a frog or jig tied on
that's how I cought my first bass of the year 5 pounder female. she was at the end of a fallen down pine in the water. White Texas's rig swim bait.
Nice!
Ahhh Tyler can you do a pre spawn how to... like a best baits and other stuff like tht
I’ve done about 4 of those in the last few weeks here on the channel 👍🏼
@@TylersReelFishing ok I just must just have not of watched them yet
Is it supposed to be a 3.75 or a 3.25 Rage Swimmer?
Both work great!
im confused on what color to get. I live in florida and the water isn’t too clear. I know shad is a common feeder fish but there are like four different shad colors. Can someone please help me.
Any of them should be fine!
I bet that swimbait tasted delicious😂
So juicy
@@TylersReelFishing 😂🤣😂🤣
How much bigger than the baitfish you are imitating do you recommend going with soft swim baits?
Not that much bigger. Match the size if you can
@@TylersReelFishing Thank you!
Caught 3 bass tonight using your techniques...
Would you prefer the 2.75 or the 4?? So I can start adding rn🎣🎣🤩🤩
Please do a no barb fishing challenge
What size rods and reels? the link just takes you to what type of rods and reels.
The reel I always leave blank on the gear ratio, cause it’s totally up to you how fast you wanna reel, but the rods always have the specs just before the link. They are in parentheses
TylersReelFishing thanks so much. Keep up the faith and keep on fishing
Ghost shad is all I throw
Nice👍🏼

Wait wait wait. You didn’t tell us what you would pick if you had to use on for the rest of your life. Would it be a chatter bait?? That’s mine
Yep! Same

Swimbait*
