Btw whenever you hit someone with most ironsing mantras you apply a stack of metal rods. You can press x to pull on the metal rods and with a certain talent you can stun people for a while when you pull on them.
Just admit he paid you/wanted you to act like an absolute buffoon, all of his progressions are scripted, every single high level he fights just magically doesn't know how to parry or even play the game, and he can take on like 4 maxed out levels right after to1, + get's saved by ""random people he doesn't know""
