his pitbull fight vocals on Scars and Dechristianize are the sickest vocals ever. you can have all technique in the world , sing from your bladder and gurgling blood in your throat but nothing beats vocals on those 2 albums.

I saw him live with both C.C and SFU and I really felt the power from the stage. Same goes for Benton, Tardy and Vincent when I saw them in the 90s. Those guys still sound pretty good though. Barnes, on the other hand, appears to have destroyed his voice.

Deicide is legendary, without question. However, my tolerance of death metal vocals has drastically diminished as I've gotten older. When I was younger I fucking loved that vocal style. Now though, I just find it distracting. Which is a bummer. Goddamnit I'm becoming a curmudgeonly old man. Anyways...I'll see myself out.
