One thing to say abt the first couple: relationship goal. It's not the specific way she talks or walks but the amount of respect and love they show in just a few minutes. When she fed him kimchi, he said thanks after taking it in. It shows that even by now, he still hasn't take any of her caring gestures for granted. He's still thankful for her presence and so is she. Things like that are pretty rare in a relationship going on for that long and they should not care abt what others have to say at all.

Honestly the first couple was definitely a match made in heaven and their children seem chill as well. People need to accept that they are just a loving couple. As I said, they are a match made in heaven and are very compatible. I envy them, man.
For the second concern, the son has some talent! He's just started learning to act and look at him! I envy him, too! He's confident and has the looks. However his mom keeps thinking she raised him with care and wanted him to do what she wanted, but tbh all she did was keep him from being himself around her. She should hear him out when she can. She's lucky her son was nice enough to pretend to be that "exemplary" son at home. Ofc he didn't want to disappoint her, but he wants to live his life now, let him do it. He's 25, he's still young, but he's also an adult now. She should believe in her son.

I partly agree with u but I can understand the mother's heart. She just wish for her son to have secure n stable job. The celebrity job is very difficult to be successful, also it has a lot of pressure since he has to give everything n even if his private life. He might take act as first priority now but he might suffer later on. And that's not a thing that every parents want to see. Still I admire him for having such bold determination.

Kaito .X .otaku i went through tht just few days ago choosing what to do .. actually i gave it a lot of thought nd i came to realize that i have to choose something i can love or can match my interest even in the future at least because honestly i had to think about what would help me as a job and my family.. you can't choose something that doesn't even get you money just follwoing your dream for example.. but i don't think your dreams are laughable .. if you are living in a nice place where you can do these jobs and secure your life than do it .. do not hesitate

Angela L I think the thing isn't that she wants to hurt him but that she's worried. As a granddaughter of a woman who had her husband abandon her to raise 3 kids I know how much my grandma struggled. She worked herself to the bone to take care of her kids. Now this mom is in Korea where everyone is super judgmental and supposedly mean to single moms and she worked herself to the bone so that he would never have to struggle. She sees that her kid that she worked hard on is so close to living a good comfortable life and now he wants to do something that is unstable. She's terrified. That's why it got so many votes you can see both people's sides and why its such a problem.
Jesuferanmi Jebutu i'm not saying she's wrong for being worried, but the fact that she's trying to bring him down and force him back into a mold that she believed to be a "good son" is what is the problem. he acts differently around her because he's scared of disappointing her, but now that he's being who he really is and is chasing after his own dream, she says that he's changed and is disappointing her.
Angela L no I understand but as someone who is in the same boat as the son, from the outside it seems like she's a dictator and he's running away. She's disappointed yes but you can tell she still loves him. I mean imagine if you had someone who has acted this one way for years and then they suddenly change out of no where. With my mom I hid for years since I was terrified of disappointing me and I know how much she did for me to get where I was and how much hope she had in me. and then afterwards we fought bitterly until we just sat down and she was just like honestly I love you and I want you to be happy, the thing that scared me was how you did a 360 out of no where. I just didn't know what to do. I was so used to you and I being on the same wavelength that you broke my heart when you became someone I couldn't understand or get. Now she's my biggest advocate where I am. This is a moment in their life. She's being honest about her feelings. That doesn't make her a bad person. I see so much of my mom in her maybe that's why it hurts my heart so much.
I hate when parents say, "How can he do this to me?". They're not doing it TO them, they 're doing it FOR themselves.

Fujoshi Chan Like you said she raised him, but she should be grateful that he came out as a young healthy man and he is 25! at this age she should let this grown man decide his own life style and future...as parents we can only walk them from the starting and most important/critical points of their life and only hope that they can take some of the things we taught them while taking a step back...afterwards all parents can do is still show love, support, and give some guidance when needed...he seems like a decent man and if he does fail in acting will that is apart of life...how are we as humans supposed to overcome failure, disappointment, and learn about the struggle for a true goal or dream if we aren't given the chance to at least try...that's all I got to say :)
@@monokakirimi7833 exactly, if he wants to take the hard long way and this is his dream then he should do it, he knows its a difficult path and that he has low chances of success but he's putting effort and is working hard on it, this type of passion is hard to find and i think the mom is interfering in his dreams and life instead of trying to help him with all she has

that's how mothers are , they worry about their children , yeah she shouldn't say that she doesn't see him as an actor , he was really good actually , but I can understand her , he should have plan b , not going to college is a huge risk because not every thing the person want come true , especially acting it takes some time to have an obvious result , all the moms have same idea
He said that he was going to continue going to university, and that he was working part-time.... I get that she wants her son to work a "stable" and "secure" job, but realistically, such a thing doesn't exist. There isn't a single job out there that is 100% stable.
And even if it did exist, what's the point of taking that job if you're just going to be miserable for the rest of your life? Acting isn't really something you can so-easily do on the side-especially not if you're working a full-time job.
It's alright to not want your kid to fail-no parent (I hope) wishes that upon their child-but what's life without a mistake here and there? It's how we learn. She can't shelter him for his entire life, keeping him from making mistakes. If he pursues his dream of acting and happens to fail, then so be it. She shouldn't hold him back from pursuing his dream, she should just support him as best as she can.

The son in the second concern actually has pretty good acting skills, considering that it's only been less than an year since he became submerged in acting. I think if he honed his skills he will be able to get a smaller role and progress from there. I think he'll be able to get a role in musical theater as well

Ok so the second concern annoyed me to the max. Like what is that mother's problem?! I understand she wants the best for her son and blah blah blah but cmon! You gotta support your child!! From what I saw he was doing pretty well with the acting... She wants her son to eat, go to work, sleep and repet... We have one damn life and I consider we should follow our dreams and try harder and harder everyday to make that dream come true. I totally understand stand him when he explained that he has been loyal to ger for 25 years and has been a good son. He basically saying that he has deserved to do at least this ONE thing for himself. And people say have a job is "stable" but that is total BS ! you have to get interviews, you can get fired or layed off. You have the same amount of risk at failing in life either way. And i will say that he has the right mindset and she should believe in him. He's not doing it for money, hes doing it to be happy and free. You have to remeber, your parents came from a different timeline , they dont understand how things have changed. And if your parents are loving are happy as long as YOUR happy, despite the fact they don't agree with you. She is being selfish and by the looks of it she is just concerned about having her money in her pocket. If she is supportive of him , she might actually help him get a role. And like younja said, look at kim soo hyun ! He had small parts at first and nobody knew who he was, thats how all actors start, and look at him now ! Success doesn't happen overnight, even when a 9-5 job, even if your making a lot of money, it doesn't mean shit IF YOUR NOT HAPPY .
i understand this concern very well. Most of asian parents are like this anyway, my parents are like this. I'm graduating next year and they literally pick out majors which im not familiar with, but i should listen because most kids here who listen to their parents have a bright future lol idkw.
Shafira Salsiah my mother was the one watching out my daily routines. i told her i wanted to become an artist since you know, there's always that one kid in the batch whom very popular with their art skills, that's me. and i told her i wanted to become a fashion designer, a webtoon artist, a novelist. my mother didn't approve nor reject it. she would tell me the pros and the cons and what she prefers me to do, but she didn't force me. with her advises, i myself decide to do medic, which is her hope for me. yet i still can proudly say it's my own decision since i develop interest in it.
everything i dreamed of came when i realized that i had the talent in it. but i realized although i was good, even so great in it that my own teachers thought it's a shame for me to choose medic, which i'm terrible in, i'm just not into them. same goes to the son. he might be good in studying, but it's just not his thing. yet the son himself said that he had never ever had a dream before. everything he did was all for his mother yet still the mother tried to control his future by stopping him from dreaming. if only i were there and fluent in Korean, i would've give the mother a piece of my mind. noted that i also had a dream to be a lawyer, which brought me to do many researches in the past. i'm good in debating too lol

Anessa64222 i will say its fine for her to want him not to stuggle but that is a part of life. And she shouldn't use him as her fill in as her failures. And he isnt that old and we need actors of all ages, shapes and sizes. We cant have all young actors , its not really. There are many popular actors and singers that were late bloomers and became quite successful with hardwork. Plus he even said himself that he doesn't care if he isn't successful, he just wants to be doing something that makes him happy, he's not concerned with how much money he could or will make, he just want to enjoy his life and what he is doing , since he only has one.
At the second concern, it's so hard to find someone like him. Who lives with dreams and not for the money.
He has such beautiful and honest smile. He also has a bright face. I don't even worried about his looks because make up can later turn him into a more handsome person or at least have characteristic.
And plus he seems kinda good compared to tons of idols acting nowadays.

I'm not, there are a lot of separate things flaws in the Korean culture... just like any.
For the second one.. the most neutral way is that he keeps on graduating (since getting into prestigious university is damn hard there), and after that he can pursue his acting career seriously. I must admit he has talent tho but ain't graduating from prestigious uni will bring a better image for him in his career? Kim Taehee graduated from Seoul Uni, Yoon Sohee is now in KAIST, Song Joongki studied business in Sungkyunkwang, even Verbal Jint studied economics in Seoul Uni.. now look how much praise they get...

Concern #2 = the kid is saying he will graduate for his mother and then go to graduate school for acting. If that isn't enough for the mother than she doesn't care about him as a person. He is going out of his way to be the good son she wants but he has a dream. I couldn't believe her saying he doesn't have the face for an actor. What kinda thing is that to say about your own kid??? It was a little annoying when Youngja kept interrupting Hyolyn and then Bora too in the second concern. I get that she was trying to be funny, but I really thought that Hyolyn had a good point to add on to the conversation and Youngja just took the opportunity to make it a joke. It's petty but I think she should have let the girls say what they were going to say because they know what it's like to follow their dreams despite opposition.
Yeah i think its a little bit harsh for sistar too but I think yeongja feels that the situation is turning bad for the mom so she wants to do something to lessen it. I just know that yeongja wants to be fair like no bias to the situation no matter what.

She didn't. The reason why she was able to do it more effectively is because she locked her hands on the top and he didn't. When you lock your hands on the top, you are more stable because you are now using your whole body instead of just arms like he was doing.

Right, all he wants is to play a role that he can play well. It's his passion and his mom keeps saying to do it as a hobby, but he can't. He shouldnt put aside his first priority for his mom after all he's been listening to her well all his life except for this.

After that he could try being an actor since his acting is fine. Isn't obtaining a prestigious university degree will bring a better image for him in his acting career? Kim Taehee graduated from Seoul National University, and even Yoon Sohee is now in KAIST and not giving up her study. Even Song Joongki was studying business in Sungkyunkwang..

The third one...... should I laugh so much for his stupidness? If you lost that many members should you reflect on what happened that you lost that many customers. I know that partnership is established based on contracts and there is a clear division of how much monetary profit each business partner get, either 50/50 or 60/40 and so on. He might have felt safe because of that? I feel like his stubborn action as foolish and now after the show the risk of losing more customers because their problem is aired, will be skyrocket high although some might feel more sympathy towards the concern sender. I hope he will re-think of what he has been doing again because it is still not late yet.
Concern 2 doesnt seem like a concern for the mom. Its more of a concern to the son to my view

The second concern. The guy is so passionate on acting. He know what his dreams and what he really wants. I hope the mother can open her heart on what her son wanted to do. The guy do have a potential. Like what the MCs said, isn't it better to have a dream than no dream at all? Some parents have kids that are really so into games, or doesn't have a dream. Like me, I don't even know what I am passionate about, what I want in my life or what I should become in the future. It's good to know that the guy in the second concern is firm on what he really wants. I'm just so sad that his mother can't support him. 😭

The second concern pissed me off. To see your son so inspired and dedicated to acting is amazing, but to shut him off? Telling him he has no talent? That performing in front of 200 people is nothing? That's wrong. To me he did a fantastic job! You could really see his emotions and his actions were good :) He got into role really quickly as well. I think a way for them to settle is if he were to juggle both, it's a hassle and acting requires you to be full on 100%, having a back-up diploma that's quite stable is good as well.
For the third concern, he's a complete fuckboy. Stop. You're not a symbol. I really wanted to punch him across the face. A better symbol would be to see hard working employees doing their job. Sure, you can work out but don't make it interfere with work! You have responsibilities. Also, working out for 10 hours doesn't even seem healthy? Your body needs rest. The partner said how he had to take out a loan (which was the cause of the dedication to work out) and his solution was to work out more... where is the logic in this man? lol
Second concern, people seem annoyed at the mum getting 166 votes, but even the hosts told her not to be too excited as they (some of audience and themselve) thought the situation in general was a concern, not just from the mothers point of view.
Whats the worrisome part is that she thought they were all supporting her and therefore gives her fuel to keep nagging him. Hope the son does well in the future.

That mother in the 2nd concern complains too much. What's wrong with him doing what he's passionate about. Kids should live their lives, not what their parents want. She's an ungrateful mother, complaining on how it took him two times to get into college. At least he got in! She's unsupportive, and understand why he doesn't talk to her. He's a good actor. Wish him the best and that he shows his mother than she needs to stop 'worrying' about him and pressuring him into something he'll be miserable in. So many people commit suicide because of parents who refuse to support their children with what they are passionate about because they only think one way. i really can understand the son of the second concern. The son has his own dream and is still young thus he should really go and try and explore. i dun like the fact that the mum was putting him down so that he will listen to her and eventually follow the path that the mum planned for him. Its his life. He is even courageous enough to tell you that he has a dream and he wishes to do something that he like. He is willing to continue his studies and graduate before fulfilling his dream thus i hope that the mum can really open up, be less conservative about stable jobs and let him do whatever he wants to.

l totally understand why Dasom always whining and jealous of her unnie' bodies. She's tall, but super thin. While her unnie have great bodies, Bora & Hyorin are not tall, but perfect size, Soyou is taller, but not skinny at all. l have the similar body with Dasom, flat, but few cm shorter. All girls want to have the boobs. that's why we always jealous of those who have.
However, just like Hyorin said, Dasom has pretty face and she's tall. Dasom has the smallest face in SISTAR! She's tall, but her face is so small! l'm thin, but my head is big and long. l'm much worse that Dasom! l look like a walking skeleton with papaya head. So she should't think that she is less pretty than her unnie. Somehow l think l should send my concerns here. Sigh....
About the second concern, I feel the mother is being very selfish. She keeps mentioning how 'I worked so hard to raise him..' as if she is expecting him to 'return her the favour' and seems worried about her own future rather than her son's. Whether her son succeeds or fails, I'm sure he will learn from the experience and solve himself out.
And the guy from the third concern is just pure disgust. Don't be a partner and rake in half the profits doing nothing. So irresponsible, I feel sorry for the friend whom has been very understanding.
The 2nd complain was very hard to watch. Honestly, I pity the son for having so much passion but his mother automatically shuts him down. In a cruel world, a mother's support is very reassuring. If your mother does not support you, how can you have confidence? I get it that the mother wants him to have a very stable life. Mothers are like that right? She just wants him to have a fallback if he never made it to the top, which is nice. But asking your child to do something he considered as his dream as a hobby.... That's quite hard. But it is also hard to make it in the entertainment industry. Aigoo... So hard.

As a mother, that second concern fucking annoys me to no end. I would never shut down my kid's dream, even if i didn't agree with it. If he came up to me and was like "mom, i'm gonna be a stripper" i'd be like "....i mean...okay, i guess". I wouldn't be gung ho about it, but I'd still help him make sure he's being as safe and sure about it as possible. that's how parents SHOULD be. my mom wasn't the greatest for emotional wellbeing, but even she did that. i can never understand parents who put their own expectations over their child's dreams. fuck ALL the way off with that.

It feels like the hosts were silently rooting for the son but still respecting the mother's love and concern for her child. They still understood the mother like they would theirs.
I hate when parents won't let their children live their own life. You have and raise children so they can become nice people who do what they enjoy doing, not because you want to turn them into puppets and dictate every steps they should take. Or well that's my opinion. The guy knows what he wants, and he's ready to work hard to get where he wants to go, yet his mother is unable to see that she shouldn't choose a path for her child herself but support him instead, and she's too selfish to see it makes him miserable, and says she doesn't know what he wants from her. He's not asking for anything else but support. Some parents, even though they give everything they have (money, food, etc) are still not fit to be parents, because they don't put their children's feelings first, and that's really important too.
Bora and Soyu were hanging at his arms while Yeongja had them hanging on their shoulders instead of her arms, that's much easiers because it only requires leg strength and no arm strength
the second concern : I think mother is too much worried. It is his life that he is himself responsible of. It's like I gave you this & that so you must do as I say. It's too unfair.
