Hey I discovered your content while I was looking for some edited D2R videos. The platform is flooded with vods but theres not much high quality edited highlights of playthroughs. You are exactly what I was looking for when I need my diablo fix when Im forced to touch grass. Earned a sub from me.

Had Javazon in HC two weeks ago, with some gears from Hammdim, the lighting immuted just insane. I basically throw jav 10 miles away, return town 10x, util they were dead. Other than that, it's very powerful.
Yeah immunes are a thing for sure. But this is one of the best builds in the game with a sunder or just straight up ignoring them

Oh I'm very much alive I just have/had a ton of personal stuff going on. Things should get back to regular near the 3d week of february :) and uploads should increase again at that point :)
Hardcore with a controller is unimaginable
To be fair I do use a very fancy ps5 pro controller for some extra buttons. But I honestly prefer it over m+kb
This is definitively the build you want to play if you want to complete the game on Single-player. It's absurd and requires, well, nothing (well okay a Javelin so you can cast Lightning Fury).
For those who don't know Charged Strike is the hardest hitting ability in the game because it takes your weapon damage and adds the lightning AND for whatever reason, Bosses really dummy thick hitboxes also get hit by some of the Charged Bolts.
Hammerdin is easier than this. Trapsin might be as well. But yeah this is definitely up there. S tier for sure. It is the best bosskiller/cowrunner though, there is no doubt about that.

10:50 Online Hardcore player here and my main is strafezon (yep, on hc! :D ) and +10 To Vitality +10 To Strength and flat + 15-25 Damage is the key for phys damage dealers. :) Of course javazon is another story. :)
Oh yeah I can see the damage being nice. Why would you want the strength though? The vit is also kind of just a fraction of what your putting in to wear them (I mean without torch and anni and stuff, it's free with them)

Glad to see my main build from bnet. Any thoughts on using some QOL mods like expamded or smth, then you can play some really gimp builds with inv full of random charms. I mean you have ton videos already, what ideas you have for the future?
I could use qol mods but that would force me to play on pc. I prefer using my ps5 for a bunch of reasons.
I have enough build/challenge requests for just d2r to last me years. I do intend to branch out to other games more this year cause I never intended to have a d2r only channel and I do feel I can develop more as a youtuber/video editor by branching out instead of doing a 100 variations of d2r. I'm currently recording Hades, some snes games and Grim Dawn, I'm also going to do more randomizers for other games like Resident Evil or Pokémon.
I do have a bunch of ideas that require me using some mods for d2r as well to try some stuff like arctic blast and poison dagger runs. I tried both of them without mods and it was just... tedious and boring
i am used to playing d2r, d3 or d4 because i am an old fart (although i have over 200 games on steam, i am used to playing games i did during my childhood) but I do enjoy watching you play HC SSF whatever they may be, good luck to wathever you play. I will keep on watching👍

What are those charms and where do you farm them ? Im also doing javazon and in hell i get crush... but do have any charms.

They are just charms I found during the run. I basically keep everything that's even remotely ok and start upgrading after.
If you want to farm charms players 8 catacombs/lower kurast and just kicking all the chests/graves and things like that is the best way in the game to get them. Lower Kurast nm is the best spot in the game to farm skillers

Yeah that works. But what I meant is that I just pick up even barely useful charms until I only have 8 slots left for items and start upgrading from that point. But rerolling charms works as well for sure
So you just skip all the light resist mob areas at all or how do you deal with them? Ive had difficulties with this char and also trapsin because I want to kill everything and not just run away
I either jab them together with the merc or run past them. You can see me do it a few times in the video :) I do the same on trapsin. It's slow for sure but gets the job done

Lots of full rejuvs. The barb is naturally tanky though so that helps.
If you go to the menu the game pauses yes. I wish it would just pause on pressing start though. Games without a proper pause function are a pet peeve of mine
@@thenuclearrabbit Thx. I killeed ancients with cheese. I must try act 5 merc. I always use only act 2 mercs.
The act 3 fire merc can also be very good for melee chars cause he casts enchant.

@@thenuclearrabbit Well obviously, its a SSF javazon run.
Generally speaking, Phoenix Strike Assassin - pretty ok build. I usually farm for Sigon's gloves and helmet for IAS and AR and Hsaru's belt and boots for AR (or you could do with angelics but I have rotten luck with them) for nearly every melee build, Rhyme and Treachery if you can find a Lem rune, and basically have no immunes problems due to Phoenix Strike. If you are lucky to find a Bartuc's, you also deal decent physical damage too.
I have never found the angelic combo on a melee ssf but twice on a caster so I feel ya there haha. Lem runes are just so good for ssf. I usually just look up a few guides before I start a build so I know what to work towards :)

@@thenuclearrabbit i think the earliest I’ve ever met him will be 2 or 3. Depending on char he’s not that big of a deal but can’t say that for all characters
