Both Mitsubishi & Nissan has great line up of modern cars abroad. The sad part is that so far our Indian Partners who collaborated with them for sales & services sucks big time, in case of Mitsubishi it's HM-Hindustan Motors. Until and unless a financially strong and committed group ties up with them to provide sales and service support like what Maruti did for Suzuki neither Nissan nor Mitsubishi will have a bright future or any future in India 😔
It's not about finance. It's about training. They dont provide adequate training to workmanship resulting in poor customer experience. Half of then dont even know what do to.
Dude Mithsubishi Pajero is a very famous veteran brand, it's has got very big & impressive history and good track record from Darkar rally, and other ralley. It's an global ikon....when it's comes to engine..it's got a bullet proof High Torque durable engine. If Pajero engine got seized..then its it's owner's fault including the service station...if don't know how to love & maintain such cars..then, stay away from these lovely machines. How are you so sure that it's the owners fault? Popular opinion about an engine's reliability doesn't matter if you don't take care of it properly. And having seen first hand the kind of below average level most Mitsubishi service centers in India are in, it is no surprise if its the SC's fault.

What the hell ,the service cost of a silly pajero is 2 lakhs 38 thousand is really insane, it like servicing a Mercedes or an bmw suv of an higher segment, but the owner is like he would choose the pajero over fortuner or the endy that's really a joke and its a foolish act

If you go for normal service then the bill is around 7k.. I own a pajero myself and I get it serviced from an authorised mitsubishi service center. The only key is you get it serviced when it's scheduled to, not delay it. Or else stupid people like him will definitely get the unnecessary bill.

Very strange. These guys must be rich to pay in excess of 9 lakhs to change the Engine. The is the covered version of the Mitsubishi Triton which comes from Thailand and a super success. Mitsubishi cars are great, but exiting India. Did they change the water pump that a timing belt change was needed. Wonder if you guys are telling the whole truth. Or is this Mitsubishi bashing. Mitsu is way ahead of Ford. It cannot be something Mitsu did during servicing that killed the entire engine. COME CLEAN

This isnt the classic ladder on frame chassis Made in Japan pajero. This is the SUV version of the Triton/ Armada. Like the Fortuner is a covered HiLux. PERIOD. The Pajero Exceed has been discontinued worldwide. But i agree Mitsubishi in India is barely alive.
