I feel both anger and sadness towards Medea, anger for doing attempted rape and using Sasaki as a tool for her cowardly and selfish schemes and sadness for her backstory and death.
I see this as an unfair statement. She's in a war and is one of the few servants actually taking that war seriously. She has a wish she wants filled by the grail to return home before her life was ruined. She's doing everything she can and being despicable because the game is already stacked against her. Casters are considered the weakest class because all other servants have a magus master and/or can use magecraft as well or are immune to magecraft attacks. She was already labeled an evil witch in life even when she tried to help others. She went the Wreck It Ralph mode of "If everyone always sees my as the bad guy, I might as well be the bad guy." She just wants to go home and is willing to do anything to get there. All you see as evil is merely her doing what she can to even the playing field and give herself a chance in a war she has very little chance in.

Medea is my favorite caster servant. Its a shame she gets done dirty in the series.
She is dealt a better hand in Carnival Phantasm. Don’t know if that counts.
