Axis Deer Hunting Hawaii Lanai

This adventure I am taking you to the island of Lanai. where we will do some axis deer hunting with Muzlle loaders and shot guns. We also take a cruise to parts off the island come join me on another Garrick's adventures.

Good luck!!! I was drawn for last week muzzleloader but did not make it there this year🥹 but I know that the drought did a number on the herd. But I have still been seeing some nice deer and sheep getting harvested this year so good luck hope you score a nice one🤙🏽

I absolutely love lanai! Axis deer hunting there is awesome never been on a mainland axis hunt but I know the areas I hunt here if your willing to put that work in there are some nice deer to be found🤙🏽🤩🤞🏽 that and some luck of course

Thank you!!! Yes not always about the kill! That’s the bonus I know a lot of the time people want to see the hunt and the kill but I feel like that’s only part of the experience it may not be all that exciting but that’s what makes the experience that much better don’t ever rate a hunt on what you kill but the experience you had while out doing what you love!🤙🏽🤩 and I know you already knew that😂😂😂🤩

It was a good one! I’m using the hornady tsx sabot slug🤙🏽 they work well and get good grouping out of my savage rifled slug gun🦌🦌🦌

Hey Ed so this particular hunt I’m using a savage 212 12 gauge slug gun not super expensive but gets the job done with some decent accuracy I really like it for these types of hunts🤙🏽👍🏽

@@GarrickYamamoto I have the savage 20 gauge slug gun. Really like it but having trouble cycling the rounds. But only should need one shot lol 😂. Does yours cycle the rounds ok?

@@EdwardJRapoza so it cycles it ok like most cheaper guns that are available it seems the action is where the price comes into play atleast in from what I saw. There is some cycling of the shotgun that gets a little jammed up sometimes but most of the time it cycles pretty well.
