The Droideka is hands down a top 5 or better release this year. I honestly just can’t get on board with the criticism that the figure needs to roll into a ball as a play function. Its primary function is for display as an 18+ set. To me the additional ball pose is just a fun Easter egg they included. Price to value ratio it’s basically a budget UCS model.
It’s just a personal thing that’s my opinion you don’t gotta agree. That being said I don’t think anyone is gonna display the set in it’s rolled up position it shoulda just been a real functionality not a second display option
I fully agree. I wouldn't have even cared if it didn't roll up at all.
I agree too, I think display value should have been and is the overriding goal for this set. It would have been nice for it to naturally roll up into a ball, but the way that aspect is incorporated is good enough imo.
@@fivelonelyclonesthe fact that it rolls up at all is cool. I really don’t see how they could’ve incorporated a mechanism to have them automatically retract without adding a ton of bulk or mechanisms that would in turn compromise the display-ability, AKA the whole point of the model.
Obviously it’s your opinion, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t allowed to voice ours and try to reason/persuade you to see our perspective more. I will never understand people like you that expect everyone else to basically kiss your ass because you stated your opinion publicly.

I never noticed the issue with the UCS TIE Interceptor until you pointed it out in your review. Now it just looks cursed to me. I'm not sure how that made it to production.
All lego sets at the toystore here are 25% off this month which made me buy the Sith infiltrator, tantive, millennium falcon from this vid. They dont have the invisible hand but I did manage to pickup the tie bomber at a discount. Your review is really making me consider buying R2D2 and the droideka at a 25% discount this month but Im just not sure where to put those. My display cabinet is getting rather full, might want to pick up the invisible hand and super star destroyer that retails at 70 from lego directly to fill out the collection
If we're counting leaked sets, the best by far, in my opinion, is the Ambush on Mandalore Battlepack. All of the figures look absolutely amazing, and the build, while not amazing on its own, connects with the Bunker Set to make it look amazing. I think the worst set so far is the Tantive IV. The front part looks goofy and tiny, and it really takes me out of it, and the engines are massive and way too large.

Maul’s speeder looks small to me, in the Darth Maul Sith infiltrator set.
I would have loved an UCS mos pod escape instaead

@@Adhamjaberlegoyeah but you gotta remember some sets have stricter ratings because they’re held to higher standards like the tie interceptor for example which might make the list seem wack

In my opinion the sith infiltrator is just ugly, the front is way to thick and isn’t very accurate. It’s a shame because this set had so much potential

This definitely a hot takes video you miss titled this video, the interceptor looks exactly the same idk what the hell you're talking about. also printed Lego pieces are not ever a plus because when you have a sticker sheet it's not only exclusive to the set but it's also stickers that you can put on any other Lego or surface you want... and finally in my opinion any and every set that doesn't come with any mini figs or can't fit a Lego figure inside the build shouldn't exist and is a waste of time. Lego is a buildable and playable toy not a useless nick nak that sits on a shelf.
Lego is anything anyone wants it to be stop limiting it to a toy. And if you’re confused about what I meant with the tie interceptor watch my review I explain it more in depth there

@@kevinodw_like I said in the intro I made the list based off my ratings in my reviews and I usually hold ucs sets to higher standards and give them stricter ratings
He has a great point. The pylons are way too tall on both sides, and it makes the model look cursed. Plus this is a UCS set, which is supposed to be a deluxe hyper accurate adult collector's set.
