Hey, I know that driver! I used to pick up the 90 bus on Grove St. & S. King was the driver. Nice guy, always greeted you with a smile & was very courteous...glad to see he's still doing his thing!
I like it that they are the only agency to realize that High Floor buses are the most comfortable for passengers and stick with them for as long as manufacturers make them. Good job Nj Transit for realizing this! Great equipment indeed!
I always wanted to be a Bus Operator for NJTransit it's such an amazing Copmany to work the Service for the Buses are excellent yes the Bus might be a few minutes late but I'm not going to complain the Service is still excellent
as a kid i wanted to be a bus driver I think watching the honeymooners influenced that watching ralph kramden I liked the old jersey cruisers on rt 9 the mci mc9 I'd drive the smaller city buses the new jersey cruisers are huge

A few years ago I thought about applying for NJtransit, I was told I would have to start on Showup (Extra board) so I decided not to apply, how hard is it to get a regular run
Depending on the size of the depot, seniority plays a part. More than likely a few months, but you will definitely start with a late run before you move up to an early run!!!!

I passed my employment exam for bus service person back in February. I want switch to a driver once I'm in for a while well asap. I'm from Atlantic City. In the mean time I'm getting my CDL requirements in order. I just passed my air brakes this Wednesday. I can't wait for that interview call or email.
I have 2 years left until I can apply for NJTransit as a Bus Operator and I'm hoping that they put me in Fairview Garage I wouldn't mind driving to New York everyday
Lawrence Cherry you could, but they have a grace period where they want you to switch from NY to NJ license in a year. It wasn’t like that when I started. They recently changed it.

The buses that stop there are the 22 90 and the 108. The trains that stop there are the New Jersey transit Morristown line the New Jersey transit main line. And the path There will be a ferry that goes from Trenton terminal to Houston terminal, and there will be a baseball diamond near the terminal where you can play ball

The exact fare for every NJ Transit buses cost $1. While for MTA New York City Transit, the cost for the buses is $2.75. No money, just used OMNY or Metro Card. : )
Actually it's $1.60 just to get on the NJT bus and 70 cents extra for each zone you go through beyond 1. For example, if you're going 3 zones you'd pay $2.75.
NJ transit drivers: Learn to drive. Thanks, from NJ residents who would like to not die and be blamed because we "need to yield" to commercial vehicles so you don't have to responsible for your drivers.
Maybe busses won't take up two lanes and have near kills with pedestrians everyday then. I'm not for automated cars but they can't be worse than NJ transit drivers.
