I played this game almost everyday! The secret was to just pick the pitch left and run down the sidelines. You could get away with one spin but if you did it twice you would almost always fumble lol

I bought this game blind because it had my favorite player Thurman Thomas on the cover. Brutal frame rate, almost unplayable, but as a kid it’s amazing how long you’ll play bad games. Having said that, the play selection presentation is the best ever, including today

I got real good at this game, running a pitch to the sidelines, boost + spin you’d break away for a TD and when that didn’t work just just throw to the TE on a middle slant to reset for another run. I remember reading the insets from the box there was a contest to win Super Bowl tickets for that year all you had to do was take a picture of your final score screen, highest score would win the contest; I took a picture 150-something to 10 I actually never sent in the submission though bc I’m sure someone had a higher score.

Actually, the game is Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts. On the game menu, the home team is listed on the left, while the visiting team is listed on the right.

From what I can tell, you could only play exhibition (1 game) or Playoffs (with all the teams chosen for you). No 16 game season play? Ludicrous.

only tecmo super bowl and the joe montana nfl series was the football games to play a full season mode at that time. other games like madden,gameday etc... didnt do that until around 94

Another absolutely awful sports game...when they were good (Tecmo Super Bowl, NBA Live 95, NHL 94) they were really good. When they were bad, you got gruel like this.
