This match was crazy. Quintessential "Big Meaty Men Bumpin Meat" scenario They did a good job making both of them look like total beasts, especially Hobbs, while keeping both of them protected. Keith looked like he was just barely able to beat Hobbs, and Hobbs had the visual win over Keith, so this could definitely be revisited in the future.

One of the best big men matches ever, brilliant story telling, crazy athleticism and both come out of it looking insane. People roast Hobbs for his spine Buster finisher but he makes it look cool, and Keith Lee is just on another level

They taped Dark and aired Dynamite before taping this on Wednesday. We were spent after 4+ hours of wrestling, but the crowd was still into this. Especially seeing Hobbs spinebuster, powerslam, and backdrop Lee was incredible.
All this was very well done. This really had that championship 🏆 feel to it. All guys did there thing. Baby face won, Heel did their heelish stuff...And I always prefer promos before a match to hype up the fight, and continue getting to get a feel for the Wrestlers in action. I really don't like some matches that are not advertised to a certain capacity.🙂

This tag team match is going to be EPIC. Save it for the PPV!!! Hobbs is a great rival for Lee and I'd love to see Swerve vs. Starks. When this culminates to a PPV match it will be awesome. I'm glad AEW does PPV every 2 months or so as it gives time for these rivalries to develop. In a bit of fantasy booking if ROH does a PPV on the opposite month of AEW PPV that would be PERFECT
That was a good execution of a classic villiany costing the villain the match. Which I like to call a "hubris spot". Better for the home audience since where the camera is keeps you from seeing the ref isn't in the ring. So home crowd sees the move, expects to see a count, but the ref isn't there. So you get a "oh no it cost Keith the match." into a "Oh saved by the resulting chaos!" "Ha! It cost the bad guys the match!" flow. Good spot for TV crowd. Match itself made both guys look great because both look completely superhuman powerful and Hobbs lost in part do to hijinks. So he's protected. Keith Lee takes a post match beatdown but it involved getting snuck up on with a weapon and he still fought a bit during it so he looks strong still. Excellently done.
