Sister... you have nooooooo idea how useful/valuable this video is even in its shortness. May God bless you beyond your wildest dream. I’m so serious. 😩🇳🇬🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
I got a lot of education about African fish stew from your video. That background hilife instrumental music was also great, I'm trying it right now!! Thanks a million!!!
Nice to have you back. I like the way you take out the skin (some don't). I would like to see your take on "chere" or "chereh" (a dish very popular among the Serer people of Senegal & the Gambia).
I'm glad to see you back, Yeti!! I'm going to try your Sweet Potato Cookies this weekend. I'm hoping that you make a video on either TH-cam or your other website, on how to make ewedu and gbegiri soup.
hi i will be making ogbono stew and will be using goat meat shaki and stockfish and catfish is it okay to cook all of this in one pan as it all takes about an hour to cook tender ??
Growing up my friends dad was nigerian n id always wonder what that smell was on a sunday when i went to his house! This stock fish smells like nothin else lmao! Swear you need to hire professionals to air out ur house after this stuff gets boiled lol
The smell of stock fish stains inside the house, it stinks the whole house stinking for hours even after finish cooking it stink for days, you have to use bleach to try get the smell out the house OMG, I cant eat that at all.
You just wasted much of the fish. You per boiled the fish and then washed with cold water? That's how your husband likes it, so we all learn how to cook for your husband? Pls ask Igbos how to prepare stock fish. They are the originals.

Stockfish is made in Iceland or Norway right? And gets exported to Nigeria, hence the expensive price.
Thx you, I bought some recently and the smell is something else hahaha. I like the idea of doing a big batch

In Nigeria, the skin and bones are delicacies :)
The stinkiest is always the most delicious and healthiest.
Will you be posting more frequently now? I really enjoy your show.

Wery interesting. In Ukraine and rest of Eastern Europe we eat dry salty stockfish with beer, it's wery common beer snack.

Where is this stockfish produced?
Iceland
Norway
Scandinavia generally, but Nigeria imports $215 million dollar worth of stock fish from Norway alone every year.
Those kind smell really bad.
Stock fish is the most disgusting smelling food that exists by far

Stock fish is an African thing eh? Here I thought it was a European invention.
You cant even make stockfish in africa, too hot and humid lol. All of it is imported.
It's not an African ingredient....
