    Thank you, I was looking up recipes of efo riro and they said you need stock fish but they don't show how you cook or clean it.

    Nice to have you back. I like the way you take out the skin (some don't). I would like to see your take on "chere" or "chereh" (a dish very popular among the Serer people of Senegal & the Gambia).

    Stockfish is made in Iceland or Norway right? And gets exported to Nigeria, hence the expensive price.

    hi i will be making ogbono stew and will be using goat meat shaki and stockfish and catfish is it okay to cook all of this in one pan as it all takes about an hour to cook tender

    Wery interesting. In Ukraine and rest of Eastern Europe we eat dry salty stockfish with beer, it's wery common beer snack.

    Growing up my friends dad was nigerian n id always wonder what that smell was on a sunday when i went to his house! This stock fish smells like nothin else lmao! Swear you need to hire professionals to air out ur house after this stuff gets boiled lol

      You cant even make stockfish in africa, too hot and humid lol. All of it is imported.

    The smell of stock fish stains inside the house, it stinks the whole house stinking for hours even after finish cooking it stink for days, you have to use bleach to try get the smell out the house OMG, I cant eat that at all.

    You just wasted much of the fish. You per boiled the fish and then washed with cold water? That's how your husband likes it, so we all learn how to cook for your husband? Pls ask Igbos how to prepare stock fish. They are the originals.
