4:40 That hand grenade works off a chemical reaction. When the trigger is released the reaction starts. Jamming the pin back in at the last second won't stop it because it's not a timer.
@lelwut It's not an exposure to oxygen that sets it off. Otherwise they'd be impossible to make. The "spoon" holds down a spring loaded pin that strikes a primer type thing that starts a chemical reaction in the fuse. That chemical reaction lasts a certain amount of time before it sets off a small primary charge which detonates the main charge of the grenade. But yea... once the spoon is released and the firing pin fires... there's no stopping the reaction.

@Go Time Now This series is "Street racers rob people and save the world." None of the movies have made much sense since the third or fourth one, it's all just mindless fun. Is the cyborg really more unbelievable than any of the literally Impossible things that they survive throughout the series?
@Go Time Now Go back and watch all the other EWW: FF videos and look back through all the times he said "X survived this." Then come back and tell me that grafting mechanical parts onto a human being is more Impossible than all of that happening. We're already at the point where we could have mechanical augmentation for people if it weren't so unethical. The main characters of this series, on the other hand, survived crashes that are _literally Impossible to survive._ Now tell me, which is more likely: unethical research into biomechanical human augmentation or, say, _jumping a car into a fucking helicopter and surviving the crash landing?_ You'd be lucky to be _breathing_ after that second one, but plenty of corrupt people would happily pay for the first one. I'm not making excuses, I'm putting things into perspective. The cyborg is no more unbelievable than any of the Impossible things that they do and survive.
@Go Time Now They're not lucky. In real life, they would be _dead._ some of the shit they've lived through is literally _impossible_ to survive. Also, Han somehow survived his car exploding in Tokyo Drift, according to F&F9's trailer, so apparently, nothing is impossible in this universe. Mindless fun that you can enjoy if you just agree to _shut your fucking brain off, and _*_ENJOY THE GODDAMN MOVIE,_*_ okay?_ Good.
@Go Time Now The series has been more about the action than anything else since about the third or fourth entry. 'Heart' got left behind a long time ago.

Pulling a glock trigger isnt a “bypass” glocks have Two safetys that are disabled when pulling the trigger, the first is a physical lever safety where the trigger cant be momentum forced down to fire, the second is a drop-fire safety on the firing pin itself so you cant smack a glock around with a hammer to make it go off, you arent bypassing by puling the trigger, you are temporarily disabling them.

@@commandercameron9189 2nd one if you meant by decency. 3 and 4 were guilty pleasures but the following ones, not so much.
I want them to tackle Joker.
@@commandercameron9189 No, 3 was crap. You mean every one after 2.
They probably will when it comes to Blu-ray
The fact that these movies still exist and people eat them up everytime is hilarious in itself.
I mean I watch them to see if the new one can out silly the previous movie
yeah, i guess it's just the nostalgia because of how cool and how much I loved the 1st one. Also Vin Diesel was my favourite actor in the 2000s and Michelle was my crush
id rather watch CinemaSins than the actual F&F 9 because like the entire movie will be summarize anyways
Honestly anything after Tokyo Drift I watch for a good chuckle
Haven't seen this and don't want to. Stopped going to the cinema to see the F&F movies after 7 (the only reason to see 7 was to see Paul's send off at the end) watched 8 because it was on Netflix and was nothing else to watch.... but this movie ? Yeah nope, not an F&F movie so don't care tbh.
next movie, Han comes back as the final boss...the Hobbs Shaw 3, han come back to the good side, joins the next Fast Furious movie
You’re right Han and Wonderwoman as the next bad guys would be fitting.
They feel betrayed by their “family” who took in their killer(and his brother) as family, a year after he was murdered by him.
Then they all get augmented and turn into what GI Joe tried to be. They become a literal superhero franchise and we've all been watching their origin stories this whole time. 🤯

Just to mix up all the cartoon&comic universes, into one huge convoluted one.
damn...F9...too fast...
Sometimes i use cinema sins to avoid watching the full movie. This is one of those times.

RIGHT!??! I said that in a comment when I suggested this movie (I doubt he saw it) and was happy he finally got to this movie and he didn't fucking say ANYTHING about that part!! Ugh....lol.....
Oh it was 6 minutes from midnight level darkness outside to midday sun. You can see from the timer on that girl.
cameron reece they couldn’t decide if they wanted to end like a Marvel movie or a DCEU movie, so they just switched back and forth every few minutes.
With the exception for the daylight change the end fight took place at dawn as a storm was rolling in they said all this during their planning phase.
@@Gomenred yeah there was a storm rolling in but it was like 5 seconds real time from bright to flash flood

Is this a re-upload, or are the F&F movies so generic that it feels like I watched this before ?
Cécile Muller Re-Upload.
Cécile Muller re upload- first time it was taken down due to copyright reasons, and planet hulk was uploaded in its place.
THANK GOD! I seriously thought my mind had gone.
At this point, since they all follow the same damn formula, you can't tell one from the other.
John W. Jones this one is pretty much a comedy where they fight the terminator relative to the other movies which seemed to take themselves more seriously this one is pretty different
I remember saying “Skip” as soon as the trailer from this movie came
Same lol.
I know a few people that really believe this is a good movie

Bruh again you forgot to mention when Hobbs was doing his Samoan dance he was shirtless and wearing a sorrta kilt but in the next scene when he jumped on the back of the toe-truck he’s wearing pants and a t shirt. Where did he find the time to put that stuff on 🤦♂️
Lol. Also, nice pic.
Nah he took the kilt off
He grabs a t-shirt before getting on the tow truck
Daniah The great yeah but he wasn’t wearing pants underneath it tho 🤔
Also it magically transitioned to daytime during that scene

But yeah the phrase "disarming a grenade" just gave me cancer.
Fuze? I think its electronic

Ok, one more sin, they talked about Game of Thrones and in the fast and furious universe, the actress who play Ramsay is also Missandei in Game of Thrones, so how is that possible? Ramsay is a hacker and an actress in F&F Universe?
"He heard this" would be a welcomed addition.
I remembered a scene from Return of the Jedi when Luke agrees to go with Han and Leia to the Ewok's moon. Jeremy said "How did he heard his? From all he knows, he could be easily joining a gangbang without knowing it"

It was about there where I gave up watching this movie in theatre and left
You must give up on a lot of things, then, because that happens so much that it could be a _trope._
Everything wrong with Hobbs & Shaw: we didn’t spend more time with all of the hot shirtless cousins in Samoa. Also, Idris Elba was not my husband in any scene. #thirst

That will be inevitable.
@RuleofVicus wtf
But I mean, if you made a movie that gets featured on Cinemasins, then you have probably made a wildly successful film, or at least have made a film bigger than those of 90% of filmmakers.

I thought of this movie more as a a live action cartoon. When two men survive crashing on to a car after a long fall from a building, animation is involved.
I bet they never make a sequel and we won't find out who the voice in the speaker was
The voice is Charlize Theron's character.
Paulafan5 Ryan Reynolds actually did the voice. Wait, who was Charlize Theron in this movie?
It was totally the chick from F8
It’s Deadpool 🤣
Well.. none of us thought they would even get past Tokyo drift. yet here we are
7:28 my first thought was "Does that mean Deckard Shaw was really Handsome Rob in the Italian Job?" and then the more I thought about it the more questions I had.
"Is Mark Wahlberg officially part of the F&F universe now?"
"Is Charlize Theron's character Cipher really her Italian Job character Stella?"
"Why didn't Handsome Rob/Deckard Shaw recognize Stella/Cipher in Fate of the Furious?"
"Are Seth Green and Edward Norton also F&F Universe now too?"
So many questions now!!!

The biggest sin you all missed is that they had to do a reshoot of him putting the gun in his hand to activate it before he pointed the gun at Idris in the last scene
this fast and furious bs has gotten completely out of hand....these ridiculous stunts and outlandish storylines are an insult, to anybody whos a fan of the 2001 classic😑
When the characters got superpowers and op-skills (ie being suddenly world class hackers) that's when it was really stupid.
Thank You. Someone I can agree with
yeah this was supposed to be about street racing!
I mean they could have simply made another series with these actors about some american James Bond bullshit
@@JSB-2Z-2K was literally never about street racing.. Do people forget that the main character was an undercover agent using racing to solve his case? Thats like saying The Matrix was a computer hacking movie & ignoring the overall plot of the war vs the machines
@@tank4ever it was. The cop thing was the side story, the main one was about street racing and the different gangs. And all the main characters were into street racing even Brian, who just also happened to be a cop.
In newer films they don't even investigate street racers they just go hunt terrorists and are used as military assets, all of them. Completely different

"Forgot to take off the safety."
A move the evil genius could avoid by buying guns without safeties. Assuming that was not a Glock, in which case there isnt a real safety. If you van pull the trigger you can by pass a Glock safety.

Oh no, you know that every movie featuring the Rock has to have the people’s eyebrow at least once! 😁
Did anyone else notice the name of Ryan Reynolds's character is Locke and how the Rock is named Hobbs? You know, John Locke and Thomas Hobbes? Quite frankly, this movie is so lacking in subtlety that I'm fairly certain that the only reason that Brixton isn't named Shakespeare is because it's too obvious.
Can we talk about the fact that at the beginning of the last fight it's pitch black outside 15:47 ; and literally two seconds later when they start fighting it's mid-day and sunny 16:09 and the guns are still offline, meaning not even 6 minutes have passed yet... and then 5 minutes later it's cloudy and pouring rain 17:19
The Fast in the Furious universe pretty much has metahumans now. Wouldn't be surprised if a new villain shows up who has heat vision in the future.
Just saying, but that is technically 2 "f" words, which would warrant an R rating, yet the movie is PG-13.
