i am a B737 newly type rated pilot and the content here is super useful as it retakes the FCOM reading material and transfers it to visual and audio instructions, if a picture is worth a thousand words what about a video.
Hello, Michael, I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. I am really glad that I have viewers in Argentina ;) Will do my best to upload more frequently. Abdulmuati
You are most welcome, appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for subjects to cover.
Thank you for the video! Very helpful. I like that you are doing the FCOM and not performaning single pilot ops as you would in a sim. Is there a reason why you leave off the recirc fans?
Hello em bdk, thanks for your kind words. I have an issue with the recirc fans because of the noise they make and the fact that it is cerculating air instead of having a constant supply of fresh air. However while I use to get away with the recircfan in the off position in the 700, I believe they equlise the cabin tempereture in the 800 better. Now I fly 767 and guess what as soon as the recircfan is off the cabin tempereture vary in a significant way that we have to use them all the time. As far as recircfans I guess I am revaluating my old belive regarding having them off.
I will do my best, I have been extremely busy lately, but hopefully will resume uploading videos in the near future. If you have any suggestions for specific topics please let me know.
So once refuelling begins for the next sector with the Apu powered on, can we use the centre tank pumps to fuel the Apu only after it gets 1000 pounds /453kg fuel in the centre tanks?
Hello Sushil, That is absolutely right, one thing to keep in mind is to comply with the requirement of the Cockpit has ti be attended if a center tank fuel pump is ON.
