We didn’t have much money for decorating growing up-but what I absolutely love about you is that you are resourceful and committed to making your home, and your boys room look great. I haven’t finished the video yet but I have a feeling you’ll pull it together perfectly!! You have true talent babe!
I know it's only been two months since this was posted, but how has this been holding up. I'm looking to do this to my new sewing room, but flooring and finding someone to put flooring in is expensive.
So much better than the other ways I've tried. The special primer really did help so the paint could stick. But also, I think two coats of both is the best also. So far we don't have the same chipping that we quickly got in the other two rooms. So I'm really hopeful! I totally hear you on the cost of flooring.
So far, pretty good! There are only a few places where some of the paint has come up, but that's because boys are kind of rough I think and drag stuff along the floor. ha
Good question and no, not a single one! The paint keeps all of the pieces down. Even when paint started to "come up" in some of the other rooms, it's still fine. However, honestly, our rooms are small so once you get furniture in and a rug you don't actually see much "floor".

Thank you so much. I truly appreciate it.
Love that song, perfect for your video. Wish I knew what it is
I used songs from ten towers in this video!

How did the paint last on a kids floor?

Have you had any issues with kids getting slivers?
