How well does that hardboard hold up to weight? It’s a lot cheaper than plywood and I’m wondering if it’s a viable option for the bottom of my drawer system. I plan to do a lot of camping with it

So far it’s been pretty durable. The drawers never really come all the way out of the truck unless trying to get into the back of the drawers. Most of the weight is supported by the bed and tailgate. Everything was glued and screwed together so it holds pretty good. Time will be the real test. I also waxed the bottom of the drawers to make them slide better.
