I’m so proud of Kirstie & Mitch, who were friends of my son in high school & spent a lot of time at our house. They were great kids & wished me well when I left to move back home to Wales. Obviously they’re too busy to spend time with my son these days, but they still drop him an email or two. They were amazing back then, now there isn’t a word to say how they’ve blossomed over the years. Along with Scott, Kevin, Avi (who left) & now Matt of course ♥️ xx

This is one of PTX's famous "uggrades" over the original. I didn't even enjoy the original, but this version is just absolutely mesmerizing and beautiful.
Their newest album (just before the Christmas one, "Evergreen") has some amazing originals: "Coffee in Bed," "Happy Now," "Lucky Ones." I also love "Side" but I don't think there is a video for it. And I agree with mason klosowski...you're thinking of the Gary Jules version.

Love Again - is a similar feel to Daft Punk the official vid is awesome, but there's also a live version of them singing Run To You Sing All the tracks from *Popspring 2016* concert are cool (3 originals and the evolution of Michael Jackson) Water - is Kirstie lead & written, pretty song with some cool backing especially from Mitch; Cracked - is Scott lead and he kinda goes off, and; Can't Sleep Love - which is the best version because it has Mitch doing he rap (original album version had no rap then it was a bonus track that had a rap ft Tink, it's a cool rap but not as good as Mitch doing it, it lacks his sass lol). Newer (their newee album of originals "The Lucky Ones" they experimented a little with using more layering and effects, I know not everyone has been a fan because there are so many purists out there, but I find it very cool, there's actually not a bad track offer whole deluxe album in my opinion), so some of my faves are: Happy Now Coffee in Bed Anchor Be My Eyes Love Me When I Don't Bored Sup3rfruit (basically all of them) but to name a few... I never heard the Tears for Fears version so I have nothing to compare it to. Excellent video though. I always thought them walking in the background was supposed to be their souls. Maybe I'm way off.

Actually, Gary Jules is who wrote the song. So, more than likely his version is the original.

Yep this is a take on the Gary Jules version. That version was at number 1 in the UK charts for three weeks so it was on the wireless a lot in 2001.

I agree that Ptx is as good as a capella gets --- except for Voctave, who are probably the best overall.

I haven't followed Pentatonix for some years, now. Did Kirstin get a face surgery or something? She looks really weird.
That side smile was a result of seizures. So many commented about it, she had it fixed.
Home Free and PTX rock in many ways better than the original artist.
