    James and Oz straight up telling that dude that his beer isn't worth it is amazing. Sorry guy, doesn't taste like 250 libra. Edit: I love that the modern national british food is curry in James' mind - maybe he's tasting the nostalgia for Empire but you can't ignore how damn good curry and vindaloo and korma etc etc are. I have paid 20€ for a 0,33L beer and could pay even more. No problem.
      Of course not for every pint, usually simpler (and cheaper) beer is the way to go. But sometimes it's nice to taste something special and "complicated" just for the fun of it, like example Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, and on those special occasions price isn't important.

    I am starting to like the Carlsburg Danish Beer Courier. A lot of posts are like "go F your self" "get over yourself" but now i see it as comedy. The guy is so ridiculous, i want to be like him. And say things like "No, it won't go with that food" and be all serious like an upnosed guy who belongs analyzing museum Art.
    James's memorabilia was the perfect answer and word to counter "the world's most expensive beer".
    I'll get a Budweiser and put a tear off of the Mona Lisa on it, "most expensive beer in the world". At least some liquors and high end bottles are aged which justifies the cost of the labor to maintain them, And they may come in a special hard to make looking glass bottle.

    • @rolandlee6898
      @rolandlee6898 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think 20% ish might be the highest you can get while using a normal process and ingredients, with a lot more sugar and more tolerant GMO yeast. Most yeast dies at around 15% mind you. Youll never get a natural fermentation process go into 30, 40 or more percent alcohol.
      Those are about as much beers and steeping hops and other flavorings in vodka and calling it beer. Which is pretty much how its actually made. They brew beer, distill it, getting the alcohol and concentrating the flavor in the remainder brown goop as the alcohol and water boil off. The higher proof alcohol is then reintroduced to the syrup like substance, possibly more flavorings are added to mask the alcohol taste. Its really just a marketing gig, the end result is most likely utterly disgusting. The cheaper and lazier alternative is just making darker and stronger flavored beer (like using twice or triple the amount of hops) and just adding ethanol to it at the end.

Yeah, I'm sure the judges, if they are actual, real judges, my eye, will be be real impressed and are not going to notice he cheated with that to make his beer, won't they? What a fathead he is, yeah, very sportsmanlike of Oz, to cheat and on camera as well, so we all know he did and there's a photographic record of it too, so he can't get away with it or something. Carlsberg Jacobsen Vintage is not by July 2019 this year now the Number One Most Expensive Beer In The World anymore, more like the 7th Most Expensive, officially now, the number one spot is Allsopp's Arctic Ale, made in 1875, cost in America alone, at $503,000 dollars a bottle at least I would imagine probably, whereas the Carlsberg beer is at least in the states, according to the one source I found by the way, $400 dollars at most, still pretty expensive, but, sorry, compared to the Allsopp's beer, pretty much a bit pathetic after all that.
