Its not outdated, it was a design choice on purpose. The Veyron had a dual clutch back in 2005, and the dual clutch has been around for much longer than that

I don't think Gintani can do a better job then Yamaha. We showed an lfa video to a car mechanic here and he was very amazed how clean the sound was. No back pups or blasts. Just pure f1 sound.

I think they used the torque converter auto because of the torque of the v12. The dct might not have been strong enough for Lamborghini
