    Great video which unlike others shows price and all relevant stats and gives a succinct, quick, but thorough view of the different campers. Wish more were done like this. Nice job. It’s nice to know there are at least some options for two people in the $40-50,000 range which is the most We would pony up.

    You need a video on Wingamm mini motorhomes/vans. They are pricey but hands down the best in quality and space efficiency. They remind me of a luxury yacht and can seat a party of about 6 comfortably.

    Despite you all listing the Nugget as produced in Dearborn MI, it's not produced or sold in the US. The diesel engine option was scrapped for the new transit connect (on which the Nugget is based, though you use Transit interchangeably for both smaller connect and full size models). Informative video, but disappointing where models unavailable in the US aren't made clear.

      Also the video said sleeps 4 and in the summary of that particular video says sleeps 2 and can take two passengers, but in reality it can take 5 passengers and sleeps 4...

    40 kWh, not 40Wh :-). And that will only do 186 miles at about 25mph. e-campers are the future, but you need more like 100kWh to get a van that does more than drive to the nearest campsite.

    Looking at the prices I think there are some inaccuracies. A $43k camper van can't include the price of the vehicle as well as the kit. Some prices seem correct. Others not.

    • @mindseyedesign
      @mindseyedesign  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Which ones? Links are in the video description if you would like to confirm prices. Camper Vans and Motorhome are usually attached to a vehicle so yes it's appropriate to include the full price. In most every case the prices are not separated.

    If Dalbury is an electric car, and it has solar panel... is that means we can charge the "fuel battery" itself? Meaning free fuel? Infinite fuel/range? If it is, then it would be super awesome... (I thought about this before, a solar panel on electric car... But it seems no car manufacturer made one yet)

    • @grannieannie1371
      @grannieannie1371 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sadly you would need a lot more solar than the average RV rooftop can provide to run a van.

    • @casekocsk
      @casekocsk 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@grannieannie1371 Of course you don't charge it "on-the-run/fly"... For normal daily car, it's very impractical... But this is RV... So you can drive to somewhere (I mean middle of nowhere)... Stay/camp there for several days while charging your battery... And then take off again... Repeat.

    • @eugeneharbut6917
      @eugeneharbut6917 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Still, for all the "impracticalities" of this generation of EV vans, when the new "on the horizon", million-mile batteries become commonplace, the electric van becomes significantly more practical. That battery will soon revolutionize the automotive industry - believe it. It is only a step or two at most away from replacing the ICE forever!
