Funnily enough, the book made references to several elements from the 2-D Clone Wars show (Ki-Adi-Mundi fighting Grievous, Mace WIndu fighting an army on Dantooine), but it didn't make any mention of the Yavin duel. Anakin didn't recognize Asajj in the book, but he DID recognize her ship, so it seems that the Yavin duel didn't take place.
Holy shit! Obi took Colemans spot on the council! Nice hidden lore right there.
Didn't this book allude to the Yavin IV duel, so not a first meeting?
