Definitely listen to Mariner too! Read about the concept of it and immerse yourself in the album. It's vast! You will not be disappointed. Also, if you like Cult of Luna, I highly recommend The Ocean.

I'd listen to their albums in chronological order, there's a nice progression in their music. "Salvation" is my all time favourite, but all of their albums are masterpieces.

I just found Cult of Luna today. This is the first album of theirs that I have listened to (listened to 3 of them today). I happened to be outside gardening when I started the album. There was rolling thunder and a light drizzle which punctuated the emotional state of this album. It was an incredible experience that I hope never to forget.

Love the music! Can't get into the vocals. I'm old so that should be no surprise. I get more enjoyment when I can easily understand what's being sung. Musicianship is incredible though.

Just look at the vocals as another layer of instruments. The vocals are more about creating an atmosphere than understanding what he’s actually saying.
