Can we talk about how well Ant is actually playing at the end of close games this season for the most part? He's lowkey getting timely buckets when they need him to. He's getting better at it and teams are doubling him much more often this season if you've been watching TWolves games.
@@travisjohnson6703 Randle pushed the defender, but because the defender is lighter and Randle is stronger, it looked like an excessive offensive foul. In my opinion, refs did well and not called for an offensive foul.
@@travisjohnson6703 If you see the other angle Okogie is so far away randle's arm didn't even make contact until his arm was almost fully extended and Okogie was already starting his flop. It's actually ridiculous when it's in slow motion. And then Okogie launches himself halfway across the court.
The entire game was incredible! Wolves constantly down by 8+ and getting to within 2 only to repeat the deficit and come close again and again. Their first lead was that Ant 2 towards the end. It was a collapse by the Suns
As a lifelong new Yorker i want to thank Julius randle for helping turn the Knicks around but still i am happy for the trade (besides Big Ragu leaving) i think the Knicks made the right decision. Best of luck to Randle, Donte, and the Twolves.
Julius deserves that man he's the type of guy that will never get the super star credit and just keeps his nose down works hard and is pretty good but keeps getting traded he and Ant go well together im not a Wolves fan but nice to see a game winner by Julius Randle just another decent player that Lakers traded.
Randles arm wasn't fully extended, maybe if the guy actually tried to contest the shot instead of foul baiting/flopping he could have given him a harder shot.
@@TennesseeTip lmao yall are desperate for it to be called a foul. NBA fans always wining about "letting players play out the end of games" but when the refs "allow" it (wasn't a push off anyways) its an issue? Grasping at straws.
@ So what was Randle doing with that extended left arm? Ultimately that game means little but when the Suns get offensive penalties one after another sparking the comeback it sets the stage for that last play. No KD or Beal, against the team that put them out last year, on their home court, leading the entire game, Book straight cookin them. Refs can’t let that dude stand completely by himself after fully extending his arm into the defenders chest after all the offensive penalties called prior and expect Suns fans to glaze over it.
-Royce O'Neale (2:00) and Grayson Allen (5:06) both passed up open shots to dribble the ball back out. -Those offensive foul calls on Plumlee (3:01) and Allen (4:07) were both BS. -Booker and Jones both whiffed on those last 2 shots. -The clock started late on the inbound. -Randle traveled. -The Suns did not trap Randle immediately when he caught the ball. -Okogie should've forced Rabdel to his left where help was (Dunn). He flopped instead of defending straight up. -Booker did not come help. All in all, the Suns blew this game, but the Wolves never should've let it get to this point. The Suns are missing 2 of their best players, and they had the Wolves playing catch up for most of the game. Also, scenarios like this were common when Budenholzer was the coach of the Bucks: no real plays being run in late-game situations; just giving the ball to the star and letting them make it happen. Role players are afraid to take the big shots because they're not being pushed or allowed to.
Why are all these Phoenix guards just running into the paint and then dribbling back out? Is Booker the only one allowed to take floaters or something? How are you going to get the big to help and throw the lob if no one thinks you're ever going to shoot?
That pissed me off so much. Passing up OPEN JUMPERS to dribble it back out and look for a three, thus burning more time and letting the defense get another chance to stop you. 🤦🏾♂️
putting the score in the thumbnail is like watching a slasher movie and skipping it to the climax to see who survived the killing. it eliminates the thrill.

He takes that next step every season. In a few years the game is going to be very easy for him.

I think they do it on purpose because of contracts with espn and whatever else. Kinda low if you ask me
