- Well, Reuben seemed to be missing his human sister at college, but thanks to a COVID outbreak, they closed the campus after 3 weeks and we had to bring her home. Rachel is fine and sure he's happy to see her again, but.... who was he really missing?

I literally LOL when Reuben said "I call shotgun. Dad can ride in the back!" I laughed even harder when he looked so excited that Rachel was home and then ran right past her to dad! Such a bulldog thing. They love everyone, but have that 1 person they love most! Welcome home Rachel. 🐶🐶😘😘❤❤

Stacy, I laughed also. Reuben was missing Rachel after a few weeks. Dad was gone for a couple of hours and Dad got a better reaction. Having had many dogs in my family's life my kids (now adults) always said whatever dog we had (male or female) they loved me best. I say "it's all about chemistry", lol!

I had an English bulldog named Argus. We used to classify his excited body behavior into three distinct categories. They were a wiggle, a whammy, and a wave. They were all combinations of the head, the body, and the arm motions. He never failed to exhibit those behaviors when he was really happy.

Rachel, Reuben was trying to play hard to get because Carol has him on camera pining over you. It is so heartwarming to see him sniffing your room and aching to see you and then thanking Mike for going to get you. He did it right. He knows Mike did it for him. Love of our pets is unlike any other love on earth. Bless you guys for making my day. Reuben’s script writer is the best. Every word he utters, expressive move he makes, fills my heart with joy. Are you sure he was missing his sister? It looks to me he was trying to figure out where his beds would look good at, what walls his posters should go on, what color you should paint the walls, where the shelf for his yak bones should go. You and so many other buddies of mine in Florida have had to bring their kids home. Have a buddy in Masters program at LSU. Between the hurricane and everything else, their son is traveling back-and-forth like he's got a private jet. What a mess. But glad your daughter is safe.

Gail Remp All my grand children are in school districts doing online school...middle school and high school. They have to get up, get dressed, and be sitting in front of their computers. No laying in bed. The first week was crazy with some not able to get online and others getting repeatedly kicked off line but that seems to have settled down. One school district’s-where I have no grand children-entire system shut down on the first day. All my grand kids but one really want to go back to school; they are missing their friends and some teachers they were really looking forward to being in their classes. The one happy at home, the youngest, has friends but seems pleased as punch to be at home. Very strange times.
Dee Marie Dubois we will get through this. And someday all of the kids will tell their kids how they had to walk uphill 5 miles and downhill 5 miles a day to get to the computer to login. And they had do use chisel and stones. And it was very hard to write with the chisels. So I guess what I'm saying is prayers and masks help...We know the kids miss their friends. Heck we miss people that we even can't stand anymore. Right? Say yes....ha ha.

I know. Rachael would probably prefer to be living the beginning of her adult life but hopefully next year life will get back to normal. I’m just glad she is safe at home and I’m pretty sure Roo prefers having his sister at home where he feels she belongs. Roo needs all his family around worshipping his chunk of cuteness. Btw, I had heard some colleges in your area had closed again due to COVID-19. So I had a strong feeling Rachel would be back home again.
