If I think I'm going to really get something out of a nonfiction book, I buy it (rather than borrowing from my library) because I will mark that baby up with all my notes and thoughts and reactions and underlines. I only do that with nonfiction.
Hey Brittany I just finished reading The House in the Cerulean Sea and I think you would like it! It’s like Miss Peregrines meets the tea dragon society (in terms of wholesomeness). The audiobook is on scribd and the narrator absolutely nailed it!
I read Home Before Dark and I loved it!! You should definitely pick it up this September or October for those spooky vibes! If you liked the show The Haunting of Hill House I think you'll really enjoy this book!
The fairytale aspect was hands down the best part of the hazel wood!! 💜💜 P.S. I still love you is the best!! The thriller genre can be super intimidating but amazing!! Can’t wait for the October season!! 💜💜 the gilded ones is stunning!!

I have heard a lot of great things about the Witchland series. I picked up Truthwitch recently and I am super excited to get into the series. I love that cover of Where Dreams Descend! I am waiting on my copy of that to arrive lol I ordered it from the WoelcRate site like as soon as it was on there to order by itself.
Cool Haul. I picked up a book, don't know if you have read it or not but if you have not check out "Orphan of Salt Winds" by Elizabeth Brooks. Kind of a Gothic along the lines of Jane Eyre. Not sure if you like that genre or not.
The blue light glasses on GlassesUSA look great! The Thackeray glasses are sooooo cute! Definitely tempted to get some! Emergency Contact sounds quirky and fun!! Hopefully the reviews are from people who are just being extra critical, lol. Adding that one to the reading list!

I wanted to recommend an Italian book series called The Neopolitan Novels by Elena Ferrante which are about two best friends and they're journey growing up and I think you might like it. well, "ps I still love u" book is super better than the movie and u'll know that once u read the book . about the recommends for sci-fic , there are twilight series and midnight sun too which is recently released and finally the vampire diaries series
I read The Night Country after enjoying The Hazel Wood and I was so disappointed with this The book itself is beautiful but the writing was meh for me and the main character was so whiny
I realize that when you get a huge number of comments it's impossible to reply to all of them, but it becomes rather rude when you don't ever reply to any of them. This makes me feel like you don't even bother reading any of them. For that reason i'm giving you a like or subscribing to you because I don't want to just be another number for you. Hi Jim, sorry you felt my subscribers were disrespected. I can’t tell if this is the only video you’ve seen of mine or not but I actually don’t have much time to look through my comments, but when I do I try to go through all the ones I’ve missed. Sometimes weeks worth of comments. It has nothing to do with respect and everything to do with work life balance- which is something I struggle with immensely. All of which you’d know if you were a long time subscriber of mine, this is likely why my subscribers know that my not commenting back doesn’t mean I’m using them for views but everything to do with the fact that I spend hours a day editing followed by my in person job and still trying to fit in time for the people in my life and maybe even a little bit of time to myself. But thank you for your insight. I’ve looked at things from your perspective and I hope you’d be able to try and see them from mine.
Also I’ve never once ended a video by asking for likes or subs, I have no need for that, I do ask for comments because I love seeing what my subscribers have to say, even if it is weeks later

I just want to point out that is very obvious that you got all of these from bookoutlet.com when 2 months ago everyone was bashing them for something that wasn’t even really controversial and saying they were going to use the website anymore. Obviously you are and just aren’t telling the viewers.... not a big deal but like don’t slam them publicly and discourage your audience from buying from them when you still clearly are using the website...I’ve noticed quite a few booktubers doing this. And then not to mention that the second half of them you got for free......so yeah.

I’m not hating on her I’m just saying be transparent if you want to hate on a company to your viewers, then don’t use it. But if you want to continue to use it then don’t jump on the bandwagon of cancel culture that was happening a few months back and say that you will no longer be supporting the website. Sets a double standard for the viewers and creators.

Yikes, one of my best friends is Mika Auguste who spoke up very vocally about what she experienced with BookOutlet. I don’t support BookOutlet nor have a I bought anything from them since this began. I normally don’t mention much about where I buy my books just because I never think it’s important unless it’s a collectors edition/something to note. If I just bought the book in Barnes and Noble or amazon I don’t feel it’s worth mentioning. A lot of these books I definitely got for cheap on amazon, since I keep them in my saved later section so it notifies me if there is a price drop. And I was very transparent before we got into the books that I was sent, I don’t think I shouldn’t haul them just because I didn’t spend money on them? The purpose of my hauls aren’t to show how much money I can spend- because frankly I don’t have much money to spend- but to just show what books I’ve been adding to my collection
