Finally a video of an actual electrician using one of these! I had seen a fair few negative reviews but still thought it would be great, this has confirmed it. Thanks.
Yes still use this tool every week taking off putting on electrical fittings. Batteries still good last all day or even a few days per battery. All the combo bits real handy.
@@PlymouthSparky Thank you for the reply. Im using a bosch 12v screwdriver, it serves me well with its gearbox and low torque. But now that there's a speed-e 2 I might consider exchanging it.
I bought one and am happy with the way it works EXCEPT for a battery powered driver it seems like it should run at a faster speed and IT DOES NOT ACCEPT 1/4" bits.
I don't get what the point of it is. It's not quicker than doing it by hand and it has low torque, outside of electrical applications an impact driver is far superior and costs less...
It is much quicker than a normal screwdriver, just as shown on the video. The torque limit on it is just to drive the screw in, then you twist with your hand for final torque spec. It is meant only for electricians, as it is a VDE approved screwdriver.
This device is not to be compared to impact driver, that is a different tool class alltogether. This tool is to replace most of your normal manual screwdrivers that you screw by hand.
Hi Plymouth Sparky , great video , have you heard about the petition on van theft ( Novanber ) and will you sign it , to help to reduce tool theft , thanks Plymouth Sparky .
if you go on pb plumber #28 on you tube there should be a link or tryPetition: investigate what more can be done to tackle van theft and van tool will try and get link, Worcester boilers had it on facebook ealier today

Henry Izzard thanks Henry. I like to give an honest review from an electricians view. Still using this screwdriver daily.
@@PlymouthSparky Do you have the SpeedE version 2 now?
I realize it's kind of randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to watch newly released series online?
I love that e5 badge and the screwdriver is also amazing 👍
Cheers Gaz. Yep proudly wearing My e5. 😇
That driver looks amazing. You've sold it to me 👍
Hi Luke yes it’s a great bit of kit to get for yourself😀✌️
It is compatible with clasic bits?
Clasic bits? You must use Wiha bits that are compatible with this tool
Pays for itself in a week? Ill take your word for it. So this thing helps you fit an extra days work in? Thanks for the review though

How's it been doing, if you're still using it? Maybe a 2 year review?

Are you still happy with it , it’s still very much on my Radar !
Yes I am still using it and using it every day.
Hi Allen Hart on You tube has done a video today about the van theft and has all the links if that helps.
Not for £230 I wouldn't, I have 2 black & decker electric screwdrivers for that job plus a Dewalt impact driver for anything harder
I’m buying one at the next Elex 👍
Good one, you'll not be disappointed still use mine every day.

@@tommymack3210 But you still have to tighten by hand, so what's the point? 8 in-lbs is good for what exactly?
Hi tell me the price

The time saved isn't even the best feature.... Its saving the user from wrist/hand pain later in life.
