Kaabu was a Province of Mali empire since the 12century during sundiata kieta rule until the collapse of Mali, kabu consolidated it's power which resulted to lots of mandinka migration to the region of Guinea bissau,senegal and the Gambia from the Guinea Conary region of kankang in search of better cultivated land,expansion of empire and war in the heartland Mali empire. Saying that the mandikas come from Arabia is not accurate though because black people existed long before kaba in Saudi Arabia was built and according to scientists the human race originated from Africa and then migrated to different part of the world. I understand jali want to associate us to arabs because of Islam but they should delete that part from mandika history. Otherwise everything is accurate. Peace from Gambia 🇬🇲
You are right , i don'tagree with everything he says too . And i am glad you said that it's because of the infleucne of islam that the Jali's try to associate our history to Saoudi Arabia. YOU are right on that too. There are many version of the mande history . The original ones don't trace the linneage to arabia or out side of africa.

I have compared Mandinka language and classical Arabic. That is the Arabic of the Quran, my conclusion is that they are almost the same. What consolidated my conclusion is that Mandinka even today, uses Arabic root words. This is not possible if they did not come from each other. It'd recorded that there are some lost Arabs who migrated from Arabia and not much os known about them. Arab historian know this. Furthermore, ancient Arabs even to the time of Islam looks exactly Mandinkas and other West Africans. They were black people like the ancient Hebrews and Egyptians. It should be noted in this narrative over 5000 years of history is compressed into a short narrative. From the time of early migrations of people from the far East into the heartland of West Africa and how these populations developed overtime. They just pick selected stories to punctuate the narrative as everything cannot be remembered. However, the Meccan origin of Mandinkas cannot be dismissed. He even mentioned , that they moved out when the Kaaba was being built. This was most likely around the time of Abraham, which is about 5-7 thousand years ago. He also mentioned different waves of migration of groups upon other groups. Meaning they came at different times. Once can even say some may have even come well before that time.
