Not necessarily,some people run built or hybrid setups without necessarily maintaining the STi colors on their manifolds,I once did a similar build on mine,and you wouldnt tell if I had a STI engine/set up or not.
Why do you call road car subarus N16, N10 etc.. "N" cars are rally cars specifically N Group rally cars.. There's nothing like n16 subaru if it's not a rally car.. Even Evos and other brands can be n16s if its in N Group rally.. This rubbish has to stop. Best describe these subarus by there chassi codes as tradition.

It's possible that it might have something to do with model/chassis code. Still not 100% sure
