@@kenthodder6333 that’s interesting! I’m hoping Windsor will get some time inside! Reckon he’ll be electric in there! Half back would definitely give him some drive
Great video mate, he might be able to get a game by mid year as he’s had a delayed preseason. Windsor is looking the goods as the hbf you’ve described our need for in preseason
Yep great pick by Melbourne. I was very keen on Lindsey to Richmond with one of our selections. Maybe the Tigers can get Josh Lindsey in the 2025 Draft? With Lindsey had Melbourne not taken him then there was a chance the Dee’s could have gone Armstrong another wanted at the Tigers that we got. Hotton and Faull where others Richmond wanted that Sydney & GWS where also keen on so it took some work where to get the players at ? I always said before the Draft that Lindsey is a 250+ Player as a safe choice so feel Melbourne did well with Lindsay and Langford. Very happy with what Richmond got wouldn’t change any of the players we got. If we had of had another early pick I would loved to have add Lindsey to the list of the Players we got. Hopefully we get Josh Lindsay in 2025 ? Sharp and Onley are others that should be early. I like Academy Player Matt King as a gun in the Midfield as well as Uwland but how do other Clubs get them when they will just be matched I know the rules keep changing depending how early and point system. Matt King could be the player to get out of 2025 draft lot ? 🏆17 🏆19 🏆20🐅🐅🐅
Last year we won 11 Games and had a pretty ordinary season. A lot weren't as fit as they could of been plus injuries didn't help. In 2021 we had a great run with injuries and we'll need that this year to compete with the big dogs. Lindsay and Langford are Super additions, looking forward to the season. Great vid too.
Great video! I see Melbourne as a genuine threat with usual caveats about form and injury. As others have noted the Dees seem to be prepping Windsor for that half back role which does open up a wing role for Lindsay if he's ready and his body is ready.
Since 2021 the Dee's have lost: Luke Jackson Micheal Hibbard Brodie Grundy Lachie Hunter James Brashaw Ben Brown Alex Neil Bullen They have lost 7 premiership players since 21. What did you think was going to happen?
No team should expect a first-year player to make this kind of structural/tactical difference. There is an unfortunate trend in recent times, as attention on the draft has increased. People expect first-year players to make an immediate impact, which is an unrealistic expectation in 90 percent of cases. Need to wind it back.
absolutely he can. he's rejoined full training and has looked really comfortable at training and he is absolutely as advertised. Looks better than Langford to be honest. Surprised you didn't mention McVee though. I know every supporter says that their role players are 'criminally overrated' but McVee is our best young player. Higher than Lindsay, Langford, Windsor etc. Right up there with Pickett as far as I'm concerned.
Demons supporter - hopefully he fits in as you suggest and look forward to watching him develop. Dees also have Jud Mc Vee who looks like a serious footballer so perhaps we get a bit more drive and perfection coming out of the back line.
@@peterfishley3951 yeah love Mcvee, he feels a bit more like that medium type that does a bit of intercepting and locking down. Think they need an elite ball user too!
I don’t expect Melb to be a serious contender for finals as they lack an elite full forward who takes the big marks and kicks long goals. The player they need and will miss is Ben Brown who could do that . Unfortunately he had body issues and of course was getting older but he was an elite forward and Ben in his prime would be the icing on the cake.
Ben brown played 13 games for 25 goals in dees flag year. He kicked 11 goals in 2023 when dees finished 4th. Hardly a massive loss. Van Rooyen will be elite
I feel like Christian Salem was a real elite halfback user in 2021. Early reports this year has Windsor playing some time off half back.

He was my top pick in the draft for pure consistency and impact.
He will be the first 200 gamer, in my eyes, in this draft core.

Impressive summary,, I believe that this kid is going to be one of the best of last years draft along with Levi Ashcroft

@@MrMooremelody I rate Mcvee highly! I see him as more a defensively minded player than offensive though.

Salem has some health problems which has hindered his performance.
