On my PS5 especially PS4 games look darker and they have more black crush than when played on a ps4 and this is on sdr, not hdr. I've read that this might be a genuine problem with the PS5, that it for some reason renders PS4 games with darker colors when playing sdr only supported games. For me that is pretty much a deal breaker as I HATE black crush with a passion.

So in the Video Output - Resolution be automatic or 2160p ?? and the Game presets - Performace mode or Resolition mode??? So i want to play always 4k 60fps how to i set my PS5 settings? Thx
My 4k tv ends up with blue and yellow fuzzy pictures from 3 of the hdmi ports but works well on 1 hdmi port . It's weird because it works on other hdmi ports and looks great but after turning off and on again I get that yellow blue messy picture.
In the next software update they SHOULD hopefully be finally enabling VRR and uncapping the HDMI 2.1 bandwidth limits. I have no idea why it wasn't here properly since launch date, but hopefully they do do both those things. I have Simple 50 1080p Samsung tv and when i chose hdmi1 but change source name to PC or Game its change graphic drastically, on PC its more smoothy less color (i think natural to demon souls) but i think less resolution. On Game its more resolution and clean but alot colors and "sharpness" :/// . Can someone tell me best mode to Play becuse i cant decide :/;((

in video settings, in rgb range select limited, or make sure your tv has a setting called "black level" and select "high"

Hello in the settings of the ps5 in “Screen and video, what wording do you have when you activate the 120 hz? “4K hdr” (RGB) or (YUV 422)?
But if i dont have 120fps and i have 60 fps does this still work??
Should I enable amd freesync? I already enable Nvidia should I have both on or just Nvidia in the game optimiser menu

For ps5 should I use a 4K 60hz monitor or a 1080 120
4K 60 imo. Not enough games support 120 currently to make the quarter res sacrifice worth it.
I do t think your 1080p monitor with 120 hz has HDMI 2.1 so it will ONLY be 60 hz with PS5.
