HO Computer-Controlled Layout

Layout is 27'x10'x42" high. It is designed with RR-Track, controlled with CTI Train Brain software and local area network, and powered by NCE DCC system. Freight main line and passenger commuter line are automated. Manual operations include freight yard, passenger yard with back shop, diesel services, steam services, and industrial sidings. Each section has its own control panel. Control panels were made from 1/8” plexiglass, and they are backlit. Layout is still in development. The middle section is reserved for the town with streetcar service.

Absolutely amazing layout. I saw this video posted on Alastair Lee's blog and switched over to TH-cam. Enjoyed every second of the video. When the light in the room dimmed and all the layout lighting came on was super. You must be an electrical engineer from what I saw of the still pics on Al's blog. Great job. Cary
