When you put out quality don't be surprised that people will subscribe and respond positively. If you upload videos a minimum of once per week you will keep people engaged and it will grow quickly. There was a lot of shit talking between our teams. Luongo, and Kesler aren't very liked very much around here either, but they were damn good hockey players like the Sedins. @teamstormf18
Plus bedard has broken numerous NHL and franchise records to this point for 18 year-old NHL players. A lot of them are age-related, but last I checked 17 total NHL records in 20 games while leading the league in even strength goals is not a great criteria to start calling anyone a bust. I've been watching hockey for over 40 years and in the last 2 months have seen Bedard do things I've never seen before. Once he gets some players around him, he'll be 100 plus points a season every year.
Agreed - I think at his peak, he'll be in the 100-120 range. Probably around 24-27 years old. Hockey prospects take time! Thanks for sharing your opinion. Especially with 40 years under your belt, it's definitely appreciated.

Anyone can come into the league and rack up points playing irresponsibly, like Bedard did his whole career prior to getting drafted. Most players get disciplined once they're in the NHL. Not Bedard. He admits to not listening to the bench and just floats every game looking to pad his stats. Other players on the Blackhawks are plus players. Other 18 year olds are doing well playing a responsible game. Not Bedard. He has the second worst +/- among all rookies.

Connor currently has 18 points in 21 games. However, he's the top goal scorer and point leader on the entire blackhawks roster. This is a team that performs so poorly that they're 7-14 in the league right now. Give him a chance to find his game, and for the Blackhawks to develop a team around him (or for him to find another team in 3 years, who knows)
No one could live up to that hype. The Hawks are bending over backwards to show how brilliant their draft pick is. He's on every power play & plays with the top line. I wish him well but he is a serious defensive liability. Minus 14. Worst plus minus out of the top 100 scorers. He could be Minus 40 soon. He has a great accurate wrist shot in the slot. You can't dine out on that for long. That's it. He's small & slow.

As someone who is a casual hockey fan I've been keeping an eye on bedard for the specific reason to do with the hype surronding him since he it was known he'd probably be the lottery pick gotta say if you take away most of the hype he's doing a good job as a rookie he's still getting adjusted but I feel like he's also coming into his own people need to remember he's still only a teenager. I think based on his current numbers he's in for a good rookie season he'll grow into himself over time and be even better

Hell finish the season in the 70-80 point range with 30 ish goals. Very clear top 6 forward numbers. If he pockets 80 points a season for his entire career he’ll be regarded as an elite player and reliable number 1/2 centre. He’s also 18. It took Mcdavid a few years to really go insane. Maybe Bedard drops 140 points in a few years and maybe he doesn’t. Either way he deserved that first overall pick and proved that behind all of the hype was enough talent to back it up.

bedard is the second wayne gretsky . he is small , he as to adapt the NHL is a very fast game today , just watch 20 year old games and see the difference. But he cant do it all by himself. I am a canadian fan however i would trade any of our players for him and i must say i love Caaufield but bedard showed inthe world championship that he is the best among the best. however what happened with the guy that was suppose to take care of him and caused a scandal will probably affect his next few games, he is 18 years old come on.
We struggle with the same type of father. My brother and I constantly have to tell our father to quit jumping to conclusions like this after every Blackhawks or Bears game.
My father in law comes to visit me when the Oilers come to Ottawa to see McDavid play the Sens…every year. This year, I was tempted to buy a Sens / Blackhawks game instead. LOL All joking aside it’s amazing to see McDavid in real life, even the warmups. I bet Bedard has some of that magic too.
If the Red Wings had gotten Bedard, he'd be in Grand Rapids this year getting into NHL shape because Yzerman is no dummy. The Hawks put him on the parent team way too soon, may have ruined his career.
I'm not so sure. Even with what Chicago is doing he's just too good to have it mess with his career. Honestly I think the AHL isn't strong enough competition for him. Yzerman has made it clear that if you can compete for a roster spot you'll get it if you prove yourself. And the Wings are definitely a more stacked team right now than Hawks so I think he would've had a more impressive preseason so it's very believable he'd be on the roster right now if he was a Wing and even have more impressive regular season stats up to this point as well.

This kid is not a bust, but it would be near impossible to live up to the hype he got when you’re compared to Sid and McJesus. He’s also a smaller player, but with his hockey IQ, speed, and nasty quick release, he’ll put up points. The bounces might not being all going his way at the moment, but if he only keeps playing like he’s playing his bound to go on a heater eventually. Too bad there wasn’t room for him and Kane.

The secret to his shot is his low flex. I used a 55 flex stick in Midget travel hockey and decimated goalies with my wrist shot.

Connor Bedard is a ridiculously once in a lifetime player. His (18 yr old) rookie season so far is amazing. I think your Dad is messing around with you.

Thank God, we got the kid. Prior to this video, I watched highlights from Detroit game. Bedard had great pass for first goal.
bedard is the second wayne gretsky . he is small , he as to adapt the NHL is a very fast game today , just watch 20 year old games and see the difference. But he cant do it all by himself. I am a canadian fan however i would trade any of our players for him and i must say i love Caaufield but bedard showed inthe world championship that he is the best among the best. however what happened with the guy that was suppose to take care of him and caused a scandal will probably affect his next few games, he is 18 years old come on.
We struggle with the same type of father. My brother and I constantly have to tell our father to quit jumping to conclusions like this after every Blackhawks or Bears game.

My father in law comes to visit me when the Oilers come to Ottawa to see McDavid play the Sens…every year. This year, I was tempted to buy a Sens / Blackhawks game instead. LOL

If the Red Wings had gotten Bedard, he'd be in Grand Rapids this year getting into NHL shape because Yzerman is no dummy.
The Hawks put him on the parent team way too soon, may have ruined his career.
I'm not so sure. Even with what Chicago is doing he's just too good to have it mess with his career. Honestly I think the AHL isn't strong enough competition for him. Yzerman has made it clear that if you can compete for a roster spot you'll get it if you prove yourself. And the Wings are definitely a more stacked team right now than Hawks so I think he would've had a more impressive preseason so it's very believable he'd be on the roster right now if he was a Wing and even have more impressive regular season stats up to this point as well.
Pressure must be legendary on that kid.
Which is why he's gonna become a legend. He's doing prety pretty good for now.

This kid is not a bust, but it would be near impossible to live up to the hype he got when you’re compared to Sid and McJesus. He’s also a smaller player, but with his hockey IQ, speed, and nasty quick release, he’ll put up points. The bounces might not being all going his way at the moment, but if he only keeps playing like he’s playing his bound to go on a heater eventually. Too bad there wasn’t room for him and Kane.

He's fine, it's the rest of the team that sucks! I feel bad for him and McDavid, getting stuck on teams that don't support. McDavid's contract goes through 25-26, but I'd hope he demands a trade to a better team with some cap space. Only 26 now, but 30 comes quickly.
Stop with the BS, he has Draisaitl and Hopkins and others. The team the last 2 years could've reached the final but didn't have the goaltending to surpass the eventual stanley cup winning team. And this year they started bad and now they are playing much better to what they were supposed to be this year.
There is a reason why the Oilers was picked as a cup contender. They don't do that unless it was a good team and only McDavid was doing everything. As good as McDavid is he can't win on his own.
