I'm sold! You scrap like I do. I just have too many photos to do one pic per page. They are beautiful but I focus on the pictures but I still want fun, pretty pages. Love, love, love your work. I'm so happy you popped up on my TH-cam! Thank you for the ideas.
It's truly amazing how Creative Memories has survived in the scrapbooking industry all these years, when others have not. Maybe you've already done this- offer the products on-line, and then host a stay-at-home crop, maybe the typical Friday night or Saturday evening. I miss that in my area! We used to play Bunco, too!!

Thank you! I was "stuck" and you gave me a great way to add the half page to my husbands baseball team page. Like Lisa, I too have a lot of those old preprinted pages around. Wedding album anyone? I also put in an order for the peekaboo thingys. I'm also so tired of seeing tutorials on how to put 1 picture on a page from "others". Are you kidding me? Do you know how thick my albums are? My husband's hobby is photography. So glad I found you!

I've been away from scrapbooking for so long. These were great ideas and what a wonderful supply of tools and pages.
I have been adding the 8.5x11 pages into my 12x12 albums for years and also love using the peekaboo pockets. I loved seeing how to do the accordion with the peekaboo pockets. I will try that soon. glad a friend shared CraftSomeJoy with me.

I have used the 8.5 x 11 pocket pages before. One of my favorite ways is to put the Christmas letters people send me in those to add to my Christmas album. I have been putting my pictures directly on the pattern paper and sliding them into the 12 x 12 pocket pages for quicker page completion. After watching one of your previous videos, I got a set of Peekaboo pockets. They are quickly becoming a favorite! I just ordered my second set. Thanks for the new tips on the accordion flip out and the half pages. Will have to give those a try.

I have used CM A4 sleeves to place my grandchildren's year & class photos to save wasting a full scrapbook page. Placing them back to back.

Thanks for sharing all your ideas. I have done Creative Memories for over 30 years. I will have to buy and try the peekaboo pockets. I always have many pictures I want to put on a page and the peekaboo pockets would solve that problem.

The half page flap was new to me... Fun! I have been adding flaps and waterfall elements to my albums for many years, too. I just picked up some Peek-a-Boo pockets to work with for my YIR album that is a hybrid pocket and 12x12. TFS all of these ideas

Did a scrapbooking project for the library where I work for the patrons and my inner scrapbooker came out again; I did a few wedding albums in the past and was happy with the way they turned out. I have things that I need to organize and you have given me some great ideas. Thank you Lauren. Love the video and I know I will be referring to it as I put everything together. (I can't wait for Michael's to open up again so that I can buy what I need and some new items, too).
What a fantastic video! I use D-ring albums but I can see how I can adapt your ideas for what I have. I have so many photos from the year my grand daughter was born and these ideas are a perfect way to get more photos in my album, without adding too much bulk. Thank you for sharing!

Ive really liked your idea for the page protector on the little half extra pages you added to your layout. Ive been adding partial pages to my layouts like that for the entire time Ive been scrapbooking since 2001. But just figured them into a position where the protector could be slid off a bit to allow the flap to be revealed. Your idea is do much better. Ive been asked to help some prople near me yo begin scrapbooking. I look forward to teaching your idea to these people, snd sharing with them for your ideas and knowledge. I am enjoying your. Thank you for the inspiration. I started to digital scrapbook a few decades ago when I bought my first digital camera as a birthday present to me. I made a couple of dozen lovely incredibly detailed pages, … and then life took over. (Law school, a traveling job, owning my own law office for almost 25 years, death of my youngest son, 9 months of breast cancer treatment, etc etc.
My surviving son and his wife are “picture people”; they are “experience people” ; and have little to no interest in pictures! However, as my surviving son said: “he never intended to be an only child. He still misses his brother 20 years after the ski accident that caused Joshua’s death. When I die, my surviving son won’t have anyone to remember the moments of his life with him, and I think a scrapbook of memories will have value for him.
Your video prompted me to look at scrapbooking and our lives in a different way. Being very selective about memorializing moments in time won’t involve nearly all the thousands of pictures that I have, and there will be some pages telling the “story” with words that don’t have pictures to go along with them. This might just happen. … Let joy happen! 🤗

Hello! I just happened to find your channel while browsing for paper crafts. Your tips are exactly what I need for my scrapbooks, especially the peek-a-boo pockets. Oh my goodness! And the idea for a partial page is awesome. I’m getting ready to work on my Grandson’s books and I too love lots of photos. I found the CM photo pages a few months ago…they are marvelous. Now I can expend them for those extra photos I want to display. Some of my books get so thick with too many pages. What a great time to find you! These great happy albums don’t exist in France. It doesn’t matter, the ideas you showed here can be adapted to quite many photo albums or any creative album or ... planner !

You can also make a QR code for your videos and add them right into your albums :) Just have to trust that the same technology will be available in 20 years :)
Definitely, QR codes are an awesome easy way to add videos to our layouts. I've used them myself and love them.

Thanks for this..love the ideas of making extra pages for memorabilia. I have two 12x14 albums that I would like to use again, but need to remove all the photos from inside( my daughter left her husband and doesn’t want them). I really would like to recycle them. What’s the best way to remove the photos and card from each page? I have tried but the actual pages are tearing. Any ideas? ❤

In lieu of Mini Peekaboo Pockets, have you tried using Creative Memories Memorabilia Pockets? It would require a 'hinge' or turning the flag back on itself and adhering it differently than intended possibly depending where it is placed on the layout. Thanks soooo much for your very informative videos and printouts.

How would you add a multi page concert program to your pages? I am ok with slipping the program out to look at it. And also end of the year document/awards? How do you keep your memorabilia organized? I love your videos. I will definitely order so the flapper protectors.
Hi Debra, I love using the 8x11 pages for programs and they fit right in a 12x12 album. I use the record sleeves with the date for each year, and organize them in the creative memories storage tote. It zips up to keep everything secure! 👍🏻👏🏻🙌🏻

I'm just like you, I want my pics to be the focus. With 4 grand kids, I take hundreds of pictures. I dont print all - I do go thru and delete the bad ones. But theres still alot. As much as I DO like the folios, it seems like the paper has become the focus.

Can you remember what the red cover set you show here was called and was it the original size or true? This would be perfect for my grandson’s next album and I’d like to find one. I remember it so well but I didn’t have my grandson then. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas. I too would like to see the mini and 4X4 sizes in Peekaboo Pockets. how many scrapbook pages can you add to the albums before they don't close or flip properly? I think this might work for my kids baby albums but I have about 500 pictures I would like to get all in one album.
Hi Deidre! Our albums can comfortably hold 35-40 scrapbook pages, and they are double sided. So with 5 photos per side, that’s 350-400 photos. I usually add more than that, and even more with peek a boo pockets, so yes, 500 pix would fit😃❤️👍🏻

What is the Happy album? I have 2 12 x 12 brown leather albums. It has several pockets and a space at the bottom for journaling. I got it about 15 years ago. Do you know what I'm talking about?
