Super cute styles. Love love love. Definitely encouraging on the loc journey. This video makes me happy I didn’t cut them, because as you know the journey can sometimes be a little challenging depending on your stage
Tiana Alexandra, I thoroughly appreciated the video. However, I've got to say, there's something really nourishing and healing to my spirit about seeing Black/Africana children whose mannerisms suggest that they KNOW they are loved and feel it. Sarai 6:04-6:11 was joy, shyness, enthusiasm and innocence. May your relationship always be one mutual love, respect and affirmation. 🙌🏿❤🤲🏿❤💃🏿
Just as I was thinking of cutting my locs off I ran across this video. Thank you so much for giving me options that I did not know I had. I look forward to more of your videos!
Thank you for this video. Just started my LOC journey and had no clue what styles to try. This tutorial is perfect because my legnth is like yours so hopefully I can pull these off as nice as you did😊
Seeing videos like this makes me even more determined to stay on my loc journey. Just at baby stage but I love it and I'm so pumped 😆. Also you had me kiing girl xx
I love all of these! I’m definitely saving this for reference. Also style 10 was definitely a twofer…you could leave the braids in the ponytails and rock it like that as well as the pinned up style you did. Kudos!
These styles really looked nicer on you! I’m def. going to be trying them out on my locs. This has to be the best loc styling video I’ve watched. Your hair is sooo beautiful too. How far gone are you? I’m only 16months.
Rosewater is said to add moisture without drying out the hair in the way only water might. As a plus, it's good for the skin as well. The glycerin I understand serves the same purpose, while keeping hair supple as well. If you get rosewater without glycerin, it's available from South Asian and Middle Eastern groceries as a food item cos it's used for its fragrant aroma. It can be added to drinks or even drunk straight (it's not sweet, so you can add honey or something) because it's good for calming the nerves. Best of luck. 🙌🏿
I’m not sure of the specific brand but I like the ones that feel like pantyhose if you know which ones I’m referring to. If I need more stretch I’ll grab the skinny head bands and double fold them. Other than that I try not to wrap them too many times so they don’t break.
Well, I was only 5 months loc’d here so they weren’t mature and still very easy to stretch and manipulate. I’m almost 2 years loc’d now and they’re dense.
I love all of these! I’m definitely saving this for reference. Also style 10 was definitely a twofer…you could leave the braids in the ponytails and rock it like that as well as the pinned up style you did. Kudos!
You didn’t have to kill ‘em this hard! Great tutorial.
Thank you ☺️
Yea, what she said 🔥

Thank you! But yes, hence me combing out my 1st set of locs which I wish I kept 🤦🏾♀️. Stick with it, you got this!
This is encouraging me to put my hair in locs, you're beautiful
Thank you ❤️. Remember, if you start and get cold feet you can comb them out and start over as you wish. Good luck on your potential journey!

Your hair is sooo beautiful too.
How far gone are you?
I’m only 16months.
Thank you for watching! I’m 14 months into my 2nd loc journey.
Beautiful! Definitely saving this to my diy lol. Question, what all benefits does the rosewater give for locs? Do you recommend using that often?
Rosewater is said to add moisture without drying out the hair in the way only water might. As a plus, it's good for the skin as well. The glycerin I understand serves the same purpose, while keeping hair supple as well. Beautiful😍😍😍 how old were your locs at the time of the video?
Thank you! I believe I’d just hit the 6 month mark.
Weird question I have locs too I struggle to find the right hair bands what brand do you use?😩
I’m not sure of the specific brand but I like the ones that feel like pantyhose if you know which ones I’m referring to. If I need more stretch I’ll grab the skinny head bands and double fold them. Other than that I try not to wrap them too many times so they don’t break.

Yessss
Cute!
Thank you!
How are your locs so soft? Mine are hard 😢 help please. I use the interlock method
Well, I was only 5 months loc’d here so they weren’t mature and still very easy to stretch and manipulate. I’m almost 2 years loc’d now and they’re dense.
Cute
🤩🔥💖🙏
❤❤❤
Love your video. Didn't have to listen to stories about your ex boyfriend's grandmother's dead cat before seeing what I came here for
You're so pretty girl wow 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲❤❤❤
Thank you 🥰
@@TheTianaAlexandra Welcome dear.
How many locs do you have?
I’m not quite sure, definitely 100+. I’m counting them this weekend.
3:31
Your locs aren't short
Considering the length my hair was before locking, it’s short on me. It may be your medium but it may be someone else’s short 🤷🏾♀️
I love all of these! I’m definitely saving this for reference. Also style 10 was definitely a twofer…you could leave the braids in the ponytails and rock it like that as well as the pinned up style you did. Kudos!
