what I really appreciate about your analysis Mio is that you cover all the major alternatives and at the end of a forcing line you guide us on what to do next. I depend on your ideas on my own games and I'm very thankful for the high-quality content we are spoiled! (you right about the max lange Qd5 I used to play it but out of intuition there was no guidance on what to do when black castle queenside now with this I'm going back to my favorite old line )
I have been stuck on improving my repertoire for over 2 years now because of the lack of material but your channel has been a blessing. I can finally play the Centre Game in official tournaments confidently
At 24:30, instead of Ne4 there is also the tricky g4. If then ...Qf6, there is Nd5 Qd8, Re6 + fe, Ne6 which is very tricky for Black to defend. I did a lot of analysis of this alternative and had some success with this alternative to the more normal line you are showing.
Awesome lecture, thanks! I first learned of this attack from "Startling Chess Openings" by IM Chris Baker, but your analysis of some lines is better than the book.
i get this line all the time on me as black and i am pretty good at winning it. i have studied the first 10 computer moves and i usually beat white. often getting the black queen to f5 is high up in many computer lines and its smooth sailing
Fantastic clip. Only problem is the transposition to the scotch/ anti-max lange attack that occurs more often than not. Unforuntately I am not crazy enough to play the nakhmanson gambit.
I looked all your content on the channel and did not find it. Please give link to the portuguese gambit series. I really enjoy, like this defence. Is sharp and promising.
I'm currently playing a scotch gambit and I used to play c3 in this position. But you somehow convinced me that e5 is a better line. Can you please make a lecture on scotch gambit? I'm sure the that you can teach it better and have more exciting lines compared to other lectures in the youtube.
I've been playing chess for 15 years and didn't know about this attack nor the Deutz gambit before this week. I've never faced it before now and I'm sure I would have lost against a player of equal strength. This is so strong, you can surprise many amateur players with it. White's winrate for amateur players according to the lichess database is somewhere between 60-65%! I don't really want to hack my way up the Elo ladder with a tricky opening but at the same time... how can I resist?
Great video! Glad to see you cover the ...Qe5 line witch so many youtube videos just seem to overlook. I had a game OTB last year where my opponent played 9...Qxf6? and after I won the bishop on c5 with 10. Nxe6 fxe6 11. Qh5+, he resigned. What are you covering next friday, IM Perunovic?

Before watching Butcher videos: Why do I make so many cheap mistakes?

Hahah, good one! 😂😂😂

Thankyou again! Still the best chess lectures on the internet.
By saying 'like' so many times, you subliminally made me like your video. Great video and thanks for going so much into details.
Hahaha 😂 😂😂
I'm a vegan but always look forward to seeing these lectures from TheButcher!
I adore this opening, can't wait!
my favourite opening since years with white. Thanks for the detailed video, it was very helpful!
As always, excellent explanation. A must know opening. 👏👏👏
Thanks Luis 💪 See you soon again with even better quality of videos!
Thank you so much Mio. God will bless you with many children.

Thanks! I even upgraded them with few more novelties, but generally speaking Max Lange attack is good for White!

You are right! Nakhmansson was good as for fun when it showed up, now it’s nothing
excellent teacher here
Where do I find your video about the main line Scotch Gambit with Re1? (3:05)
Coming soon Uwe 😉
I looked all your content on the channel and did not find it. Please give link to the portuguese gambit series. I really enjoy, like this defence. Is sharp and promising.
I will publish that out soon, I never said I did it, I said I should do it soon, 7 videos... Quite extensive analysis!
Portuguese gambit, one of my favorite. Dynamic vs material.

Thanks needed to spice up my e4 e5!
Glad you are happy with this video!

Could you do a video on the Budapest gambit declined lines? I never seem to be able to maintain the early advantage.
A marvelous tool against 1. ...e5!!!
Thanks Francois 😉 Although, you have now your 1.Nf3 boring Reti stuff 😂😂😂
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial Yes but I am a universal mind:)
Great channel
Thankyou mr. Butcher
Looking fwd to this!
minute 26:37 Nf3! Qd4 only move then fxg7 Rg8 Nf6! wins!!.......any comment? ........greetings from El Paso Tx. USA
Let me check your tactical master piece :)
Looks convincing, 👍👏🤔
By the way, in the Line 9...Qd5 it seems obvius that 16...d2 is not a great move and maybe 16....Rd7 is better to struggle for equality?
Superb!
Thanks 👍 👍

English opening for Black! We will crush it finally!
Qf6! baby
at 6:08 would it be better to capture f5 pawn en passant?
Stockfish says Nd2 is slightly better but I’m not sure why (it does stifle black’s development but the en passant lines have some lovely traps too).
next urusov gambit please!
Mio pls show me to play against the modern scandinavian gambit!
What is Modern Skandi gambit?
20:20 I laughed so hard hahahaha
Never heard about this before .........
Can someone please tell me the move order at least . I expect it is a part of the Italian game series
@@BeFourCM oh , silly me
