I enjoy the diversity you have in your travels. Sometimes by foot, other times by car, also bike, motorbike, bus travel. Forest, beach, city, ruins, it's all good. Presented in a sharing way, with your viewers. Thank you Gabriel.
So cool man! Me and my wife visited Istanbul and Cappadocia last week. Super awesome trip. My favorite place was definitely Cappadocia and we did the hot air balloon ride at sunrise one morning and it was spectacular!! Absolutely amazing from the air!!
I’m blown away by Antalya and the coastal places you showed here. I’d heard of Antalya but had no idea how amazing was. The food looks really delicious too! Thanks Gabriel for inspiring us with these beautiful locations😀
Wow just incredible. Beautiful loved it from the landscape foliage to the night life vibes. It's an edited video but still. No wonder there are tons of tourist alt life style live-in areas. Amazing Anatalya I see why it's rated so highly. 🇹🇷
So Cool, the improvement in the quality of footage from 2009 to now is Amazing! Now I'm wondering in another 10 years what the difference will look like. Cheers To You Gabriel & Safe Travels :)
Can’t get more late 90s tourism than Antalya here in this Scandinavian town. Everyone I know including my family went there. Thailand and Turkey(specifically Antalya) were the places to go back then. EDIT: Lol. That meal at the end looks spectacular.
I love watching all your videos. I've been reading my Bible every day and some of the places you've been help me see what it was like back in those days. I'm glad you love history. Keep adding videos, very informative
You're acting very familiar with the Turkish people and the landscape. Looking good. And feels good. You might have some Turkish ancestors, don't you? Great city Antalya. I've been there last winter. So amazing.
Aww man you should have stayed in Olimpos one night-you could have seen the “fire mountain”, flames that come out of the mountain only visible at night. It’s the origin of the legend of the Chimera.
I graduated high school in '89. Loved them and the Violent Femmes, Talking Heads, Wall of Voodoo, Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks, Oingo Boingo, the Cure, etc., etc.
the exchange ret fell (from TL p.o.view) in the last years constantly. but still sometimes it goes a little up and then back again. so the prices vary depending on the exchange rate. for most of the time, the exchange rate went down since the year, where the new TL was introduced.
Turkey looks very interesting! Hey, have you ever been to Argentina? I just talked to a guy yesterday from Buenos Aires and he said Argentina is very cheap now. He said that you could get a nice hotel room for $40 a night and the food is cheap too. He said you can do a tour of Patagonia for not much money too. I looked at Buenos Aires on Google maps and it looks very European. It’s a nice city but very big.
Very cool video - thank you! How are your feet holding up ? That's a lot of hiking with the new sandals. It is interesting in a lot of the ruin sites you have shown there doesn't appear to be historical guides. Is that due to COVID19? If I visit those sites I will have to do some pre-reading of travel books. Did you find many English speakers in the rural areas?
Can you do a video about how you enter a country and manage your money? do you use an ATM card or do you get cash ...and such as when to use what, like at a restaurant or gas station or hotel? Also how do you prepare for phone service in each country? I'm sure your phone has some data that you require ....especially for GPS and you're not always 100% dependent on hotel or restaurant Wi-Fi
Gabe, I don't know if you've ever mentioned in a previous video (I just looked on your Amazon store and didn't see what I'm asking about), but as you show clips from 10-11 years ago in some of your current videos, what do you store all your files on? Is it something on the cloud or do you carry around a very large capacity extra hard drive(s) with you? Pen drives, even the 64GB's, don't hold all that much I'm learning .....
I have it stored on my laptop. Not everything I've ever filmed, just select clips that I saved, maybe one or two good ones from each video. The advantage of that older footage is the files are tiny so they don't take up hardly any space. My new Lenovo Yoga has a 500g hard drive so plenty of space.
After this trip you might change your opinion of where is your favourite place on earth. I would recommend anatolia, for every human being on earth. This is the landscape where human civilisation started and so many cultures have been. Visit this beautiful anatolia and his ruins and history.
Are all Mediterranean beaches rocky as hell like that? Ive been to Zandvoort on the North Sea in the Netherlands and it was smooth, a bit brown, but smooth and not that many rocks at all
It varies a lot, there are sandy beaches as well. Croatia had lots of pebble beaches for some reason. Plenty of nice sandy beaches in Turkey and also Greece. It would make an interesting video for someone to explain how different types of beaches get created.
Our little family travelled to Turkey few years ago as well and when you're there, every place is different and every place is amazing in itself!
I enjoy the diversity you have in your travels. Sometimes by foot, other times by car, also bike, motorbike, bus travel. Forest, beach, city, ruins, it's all good. Presented in a sharing way, with your viewers. Thank you Gabriel.

You're acting very familiar with the Turkish people and the landscape. Looking good. And feels good. You might have some Turkish ancestors, don't you?
Great city Antalya. I've been there last winter. So amazing.

Looks like an awesome area
Love it that you dig Echo and the Bunnymen!
Ha ha. I saw that too. Go '80's.
I graduated high school in '89. Loved them and the Violent Femmes, Talking Heads, Wall of Voodoo, Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks, Oingo Boingo, the Cure, etc., etc.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos gotta check out the Circle Jerks they sound intriguing!
@@GabrielTravelerVideos No REM? Yes my bands too. My day. We were around for a good time.
@@saratemp790 No I wasn't that into REM but they've made a few decent tunes.

Thnx for providing lift to the hitch hikers .
How much annual income does one need to travel a.k.a. just like Gab?
$1,500-4,000 a month, depending on how you travel and where you are.
If you want to rent a car cheap then go to Kefalonia next year. RentCarKefalonia 200 metres from the Airport. I paid just 21€/day for an Opel Corsa.
In an instant Gabriel became an Uber driver in Turkey🇹🇷

The more i see & learn of Turkey the more i want to visit. From what i see not bad for what you par & get fir food & lodging.
Welcome to Turkey...
People sure do love their tombs. I wonder if the way they look now is how they imagined they'd be. Ozymandias.
Gabriel, do you have plan or idea to travel to brazil?
And... we rented the same car.. Mine was blue. lol. Kas had the worst parking anywhere in turkey. From Antalya we went to Lake Salda, was amazing.
It is very nice that you look fascinated with greek culture
Don't forget to see Phaselis ! It is a must!!!
i love turkish vlogs!
Dinner looks yum
Impressive lunch for $8.20. Dinner looked great and was also a bargain. Turkey may be in my future.

What’s the name of that hotel?
Hadrian gates ..... 🤩 been there in 2018 can’t wait to visit again. Duden waterfalls recommended 😁
If you are coming to Antalya city center so we want to meet you here Gabri?
Next video will be from there, I was there about a week ago.
Everything seams like Greece. I am very intrigued by those stone boxes, was that where they buried the dead?
Yes, they're tombs but probably for more important people. Not everyone gets a sarcophagus.
Another great video Gabriel - Turkey is now officially on the bucket list! ❤️
This Turkey series has me thinking the same!
you are going their i noticed in the video , hope you liked it , i did.
have you been to Aspendos?
