Hi I just got the same little bichirs yesterday, and found out they can’t see the food very well, do you recommend giving them sinking pellets, or what did you start with?
Great question, took awhile for my first bichir to become pellet trained. My two new guys I have them currently on bloodworms. I’ll make sure they sprinkle down right in front of them. You’ll probably have better results with starting them on the frozen bloodworms shrimp etc to start.

Then introduce the pellets once they are more comfortable in their new tank.
