At the beginning i thought he was boring and just played simple as fuck. Of course i haven't played the drums ever. But now that I have listened tons of Maiden songs I can listen to Nicko a bit closer and I really like him and think he's a really good drummer
The latter part of the guitar solo is based upon a piece of Classical music, possibly Brazilian. I could never for the life of me identify it. I heard the piece on a Classical music show in the 1990s. 9:10 - 9:29.
How can we do this ourselves? I would love to have all of their music in Instrumental versions. No offense to Bruce (I think he's great), but the instrumentals are much, much better when heard on their own IMHO
