1987 Shoals Area Big Band "In the Mood"

I found a bunch of U-Matic tapes (large, professional tape used from the 1970s to the 1980s) and digitally captured them. In this mish-mash of recordings is the earliest known recording of the Shoals Area Big Band (ca. 1987). I believe that’s Tom Risher on set, Dr. Lyman Mitchell directing, Dr. Edd Jones is playing trumpet, Dr. Jimmy Simpson on sax, and is that Ricky Burks on sax? This recording of “In the Mood” end abruptly because that’s the way it way it was on this one tape.
