Man, I was a new Ewing elementary student and I never went to this school, but Mrs Ramey told us stories about this place, how it got broken into, that one incident in the bathroom and others but she was a good sub and I always loved the legacy she carried on through those stories.
So many great memories, Go Panthers... So sad to see it in this shape... I remember the great teachers and the many good friends from each of the rooms, some still with us and some gone. The great fall festivals, cake walks , spook house, plays, talent contest, band concerts and can't forget the snack room where I always would get either an orange or lemonade drink in a paper container like milk for afternoon recess. Then there was the playground, how I used to love to swing on those swings. The ball field up on the hill and the old cemetery where were not suppose to go.. Then the 5th and 6th grade snicking up in the woods with the girls... Those were the days!!! Thanks, Diana
It is sad to see a place you have so many memories in be in such a shape. as you stepped into every room i could remember the teachers I had in that class, where I use to sit and so many memories.
Aww this makes me so sad. :( Remember that morning in 4th grade when we opened the door and saw that it got broken into? I have so many memories there!
