I just love Tarte so I'm not upset to see more Tarte reviews AT ALL! As a member of the cool toned army, that one palette really caught my eye. Even the blush palette had me looking twice since I am fair-light skin toned. Great video!!!

I used to think I could only wear cool tones. Then the palette releases became all warm. Now I do my makeup differently and can't seem to figure out cool tones anymore. The ColourPop Troublemaker palette has my attention now so I guess I'll learn 😂

I actually want quite a few things from the new Tarte holiday releases. The large, colorful Maneater palette isn’t my jam but some of their other “basic neutral” palettes are calling my name. I wish they’d make a permanent blush palette. “At ease Tarte” 😂 You’re so funny!
Savanah! Well, luckily, you definitely have a lot to choose from with all these releases. And that new one I put up on the screen looks pretty. I can’t help but be intrigued but I am trying to stay away so I don’t become the tarte channel.
The cool toned revolution caught my eye there for a little bit but I’ll always be partial to my first love. The warm tones ❤

Yes Rebecca!!! Thank you for coming through. I was waiting for someone to review their holiday collection. I have points to redeem at Ulta and I’m eyeing the Maneater After Dark and the Gilded Glamour two eyeshadow palettes. As well as the juicy lips.
This sounds strange as a focal point, I know, but the juicy lips are SO good! Haha. The Maneater After Dark is so good, too. I reviewed that right when it came out and I LOVE it, too.

Trying to get rid of some shadows i don't use, i do that sometimes, now and than. So this is a pass, it's nice but overwhelming, so many releases, for me than. But you do an amazing job to show so much of them, so that we can make the right choices, what we really would love to have, thanks so much for that dear Rebecca, and looks lovely on you!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩 I want to give away things i do not use anymore the coming autumn/winter, and want to think 3 times first, also for our planet, and you really help us to think!!! Well, i did not think when a new TF quad in the creamy formula was there suddenly, here, at the Bijenkorf website, 2 days ago. I ordered, it came today, swatched and in love, it was the khaki quad. I hope others will follow because so beautiful!!! These quads, and Suqqu, i normally still watch reviews, but i heard here it's the more creamy formula from TF, and it is, i'm in love!!! And so special, because so hard to get, and not possible to order from USA/UK here. I watched today at the site and they were gone already. And we're a small country, so if it comes back, i don't know. So that is how i choose more, this is a very nice palette, but so full with bigger palettes here still, and that is why this is so helpful, saving our planet and saving money!!! Btw Those 2 Tarte palettes are so beautiful! I love love love how they perform. I didn't know what to expect because they can be hit or miss. I got them on sale for $43 and free shipping. Def worth it. Little bit of fall out with the shimmer shades but no biggy.

Another pass for me. I just bought the new Maneater After Dark Palette and need to get more use out of my Tartlette Full Bloom as well as the smaller Jewel palette. I also had picked up the Breezy palette and a three layer Maneater Temptation Palette that was only available at ULTA (I think). I still use my Tartlette in Bloom too. How many Tarte palettes can one woman use!?! I don’t like their other mascaras, but I am a HUGE fan of the new Tartlette tubing mascara - BIG fan. It’s my new fav!
Good morning, Rabbi! I was laughing as I was reading your comment because, like me, the amount of Tarte products you were naming almost becomes silly as the list goes on! It’s like how many pallets can one brand produce? And I buy and review them because I think that then they’re done for a few months. The next week comes and four more come out. It’s almost like they’re having some sort of a contest among employees. The new tubing mascara is my go to now above all others.

Helen....when I tell you I could NOT get that mascara out, you must believe me. It was hilarious. I had to PRY it out with the blunt back of a tweezers to like get under it and launch it. Hahaha.
Tarte annoys me soooooo much! Why would they pair a warm and cool toned palette like that? I’m cool toned. It’s not about preference for me. I look totally sick and wrong in warm tones. 😵💫

You can actually use both if you are cooler under tone. Mix and match. This is the wrongful concept that a warm undertone people can't use a cooler under tone colors or vice versa.

Hello Michelle! At first your question seemed like an easy one. Maneater After Dark, for sure. But the I thought about it. And the answer is actually a bit more complicated than that. the Maneater makes more of an impression. It's GORGEOUS but the shades lean dark. The duo Gilded palettes are much more everyday friendly and give choices of warm OR cool toned looks. So the Maneater is prettier to OWN but you might actually USE the Gilded set a LOT more day to day! Might be a better buy.

@@michellestoyko6983 it also depends on how you like your eye looks. Maneater can be a bit dark. The duo would have more variation in looks. I think I might still be voting for the duo IF we are talking everyday wear rather than, say, adding to a collection. In terms of a collectors item, the larger Maneater is more of a statement to own. But it won’t get nearly as much use.

I have found a few products at most from Tarte that I like. All their foundations and skin tints, face stuff, etc are awful for me. Not one has ever worked. I did buy a palette on sale at Ulta (it's still on sale) it's white with a snake on it I think, it's really pretty packaging and I feel it works well. This collection is nice but probably won't be picking it up. Thanks for reviewing! Happy Friday!!!!!
Hello Erica! Yes, I agree. You can’t just get anything with their name on it and love it. I absolutely agree with you. It is a hit and miss process. Oh yes. I reviewed that collection with the little snake on it. It’s really nice and there’s a lipgloss that went with the collection that has a little gold snake wrapped around it that’s super nice too.

I know there are people who will disagree with me, but I really like these releases!!! One exception: the blush palette bc all of them might look too similar?? But seriously!! The eye palettes are great!!! It’s a great idea to have a warm one and a cool one. I like both tones!! 😃 if someone doesn’t, then one could be a gift?? And the Sugar Rush one is adorbs. I have a young soul, but I am aware that time has passed for me!!! 😂 I agree that Tarte needs to breathe a little!!! I can’t and don’t keep up with ColourPop, but now Tarte too?? Huh??!!! Eeeeek. Tarte has been good to me over the years and their formula is one of the few that doesn't irritate my eyes. I know eventually these will be on sale which I will get at that time. These are gorgeous and I'm waiting for that it cosmetics beauty book too.

As far as I know right now, Charlotte T has a face palette coming out in two color stories....any week now. I haven't yet heard anything about a holiday 12 pan but I can't imagine there won't be one.

For the fairest complexions, it’s lovely. But anything from light medium on up, it takes too much building and the shades become too similar. Money saved.

The Gilded Glamour duo is just looove! I'm a neutral toned gal and I'm not giving any of mine away 🤣 These shades are all so wearable. I can even use some shades for blush, contour, and bronzing. I never bring any other palette with me for vacation or for performances (as a dance artist). Being able to pack less is always a convenience; and my goodness the mirror! I can't say enough. This duo was such a good purchase after a 3-year hiatus from buying makeup. 🥰

Funnily enough, I'm getting asked this a lot. Maneater is more of a collector's item. It's gorgeous but dark. Not a TON of looks. Gilded Glamour MANY more looks. Not collector worthy though.

@@AZ_Julie480 no problem. I’m always here to answer. The scent is more in that sparkly palette. The one that comes with the mascara. That one supposedly smells like caramel but it’s more just generic sweet scent.

Do they produce all of kickback (Glam and Gilded). Is there a fallout on the face? I never had a Tarte palette. Debating between this and In bloom.
There is a lot of kickback from Tarte eyeshadow. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. They’re just powdery and finely milled so you will see a lot of powder puff up into the air. But there is not a lot of fall out. In bloom is much more neutral and can kind of serve to be the neutral shade you need with a colorful palette. These Holiday releases are a bit more fun.

Hello! I really like the duo actually better than the maneater believe it or not. The duo has a little bit more versatility and the Maneater can go a tad bit dark. So I think you opted for the right choice!

If the eyeshadow quality matches their usual, I feel the warm & cool eyeshadow palette set is a pretty nice value and a way for folks to split or share or gift with a friend, assuming one likes warm and one likes cool. In the past, when they’ve done decorative holiday palette cases, they’ve been removable to where the case can be a sparkly clutch. Since this one (sugar rush palette) looked bulky, I wondered if perhaps it is that way. I’d realistically never use it as a clutch but I suppose others may. With all these launches and little time between, I don’t see how Tarte can accurately assess performance of each to know what their real hits are to aid in future product development.
Pam! I am not near to my studio now, where the pallet sits, but I will check it when I get back as I wonder, too, if it is a clutch. I don’t think so but when I read you saying it, it does seem that that would make a lot of sense because of the bulkiness. I definitely think the warm and cool eyeshadow palettes are the way to go. They are not Pat McGrath quality but they are definitely up to Tarte quality And so not a disappointment. The sugar rush palette is a little more fun but doesn’t quite perform as well as the others. To be expected. I joke about Tarte being prolific but, joking aside, I do agree with you that sometimes too many releases are just that: too many releases

Love this holiday collection!!!! I think that pairing those two palettes together was a great idea, perfect for gifting!!! Tarte should be tired. They are burning the midnight oil…at ease Tarte!!😂 I typically enjoy most things Tarte and I’m definitely picking up the duo for my nieces. I LOVE lights camera lashes. I always have one in my purse (you know for mascara emergencies🤣🤣) It is very black, lengthens and separates well without ever being clumpy! I’ve used it since it launched and I’m a mascara lover but this is the only mascara that has stood the test of time! I can wear it by itself and it’s buildable so if I want to add a little more vavoom at end of day, I can do so without issue. I have very average lashes, not too short, not long, not too thick BUT i want lashes that are long, voluminous, and separated, so I often pair this with a volume building mascara like Monsieur Big. Great review!!! Not sure if you’re following the ULta 21 days of beauty but I think this is the first time since ShapeTape launched that it was not included in the sale!!!!
Mascara emergencies are REAL, Tracie. You know I understand. I am going to keep wearing it now that I hear you are such a fan. This bodes well for it. I know it is one of their iconic mascaras. I'd never used it before! haha. Embarrassed to admit.

I have VERY average lashes so it works perfectly for me. Wonder what Tarte will come out with next??? Surely there is more to come before year end, as it is only September!!!
@@traciewarren1070 I have average lashes too. I used it tonight again and am enjoying it. You’re right. You have to have something for it to grab. I use a lash serum to get them to average, by the way. Haha
I got the too faced palettes. These I will be picking up too. I'm really excited about it. They've got a new tartelette palette coming out too. Tarte is my favorite brand!

U know that brand new tubing mascara was in 21 days of beauty at Ulta. I got it. I haven’t tried yet. I have several open but I’m hopeful!
I really like it because it’s got more drama than most tubing mascaras have. It’s very dark and very sultry but still tubing. I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts when you try it.
What colour did you like in the new milk concealer? That’s after you slapped it on 😂❤

Been a tarte fan for a while. Still love the original aqualillies palette. While you didn't review them (yet) I love the eye Shadow sticks with eye liners...amazing products. Bought last year and will again this year. Lasts all day, and doesn't smear. Thanks for all your reviews!
Lisa! Yes, those are the very ones I have sitting waiting for review. They keep getting pushed aside by newer bigger releases but they are coming.
I love it but if quick reproduction worries me because it makes me think it’s cheaply made because quality items don’t get released as often.

If you want my honest opinion, I find this collection boring. I'm sorry but the shadows look a tad patchy and I've never liked Tarte blushes as I've found them dry & chalky. I can't stand their mascara's or concealer's. The last holiday palette I bought was in 2016 and it was fantastic, except for the included blush & mascara. Tarte has a special place in my heart tho as I turned my mom onto their eye palettes 🥰💕💓💖
The question becomes....when is TOO much too much? In a way, I wish the Maneater After Dark had kind of been their holiday release and that's it.

How is it possible that you've never tried Tarte's iconic mascara Lights Camera Lashes? 🤯 It's been around as long as the brand has. It's normally in a purple faux leather case, but Tarte regularly releases it in different iterations for gift collections. As far as the holiday releases go, I will wait for them to go on half-price sale sometime between Black Friday and New Year's, and decide then. 🤪
Denise! Honestly. I have never tried it before. It’s funny because as long as I’ve been in the industry I find that there’s certain iconic products that I’ve actually never tried. It’s rare but probably once a month I realize there’s some thing I’ve never grabbed before. So now we can cross this one off the list. I like it actually.

Hi Rebecca, I don't know how you keep up with all these released. Just wanted to mention the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes has been their best selling mascara for years and has been a favourite. I really enjoyed it a few years ago before I decided to change to Tubing mascaras.
I am surprised that every few months, I end up finding an iconic product that I have not yet tried. So that’s the one for this time around. There are definitely more out there and I’m just getting around to each and everyone of them ha ha. Good mascara.
