It blows my mind how she switches her “voice box” so effortlessly with like less than half a breath left. Like some songs of hers I feel decent singing to in the car with the window down, but songs like this where she switches from her normal beautiful voice to angelic leaves mere mortals like myself voice just stop producing sound. Like when you try to do a Mariah Carey falsetto and your voice doesn’t just crack, no sound comes out but a tiny squeak. That’s why I take the gift of throat soothing stuff she gives to her singers seriously. It’d be so easy for her to fuck up her vocal cords but whatever she’s doing protects her voice so she still sounds like an angel.

Like when you try to do a Mariah Carey falsetto and your voice doesn’t just crack, no sound comes out but a tiny squeak. That’s why I take the gift of throat soothing stuff she gives to her singers seriously. It’d be so easy for her to fuck up her vocal cords but whatever she’s doing protects her voice so she still sounds like an angel.
