- remember when i took a day off to explore Newhaven? it's a charming waterfront neighbourhood in Edinburgh. on that particular day, the wind was howling ferociously. the café i had my eye on is usually closed on mondays. so, i decided to take my revenge and headed back there for a morning by the water. it's funny how a simple change of scenery can transport you to a whole new world, even if just for a morning.

that was one territorial seagull! ha! I'm gonna tell you what I'd like to do on weekends (which is different from what I get to do xD): explore new areas, visit new cafes, go book shopping, take pictures, read a bit, watch films.

The warm hands of ghost is such a captivating title. Was it a worthwhile read?
Yes! The title drew me in as well, though I wasn't too sure at first since it's not my usual read-historical fiction about World War I. However, it was recommended by one of my favourite booktubers, so I decided to give it a go. There's some magic woven into the story, and the writing is truly compelling. I highly recommend it :)
