The shelves look fantastic! My vote is that you need to pick up the Expanse. I haven’t read it yet but I’ve heard really only positive things. It’s fun to hear you enjoyed Kings of the Wyld so much! I’ll have to bump it up my TBR
Yeah I really loved king sof the Wyld! I loved the expanse books as I was reading them, not sure why I didn't keep going, I may of read up to where I needed to wait for the next book to release, and nothing kills my drive than waiting for a book ha
Awesome tour, love your shelves! I love animal attack books so will keep an eye out for the Meg series, sound fun. I have yet to read sci-fi horror, Dead Silence is on my tbr, sounds kinda similar to Event Horizon? Maybe not.
It's similar to Event Horizon in some ways, not nearly as gnarly, or to be honest as good, as Event Horizon though. Yeah I really do think The Meg books are some of my favorite like, creature feature, books.
I havnt read Raptor Red, I hadn't heard of it, it sounds super interesting. From the point of view of a raptor? Added to my TBR. Animorphs is suprisingly good, reading it again as an adult has let me see the more darker side, the sort of Guerilla war aspect. My collection is still missing about 6 or so books I think :( hard to find in Australia.
@@BenjaminsBookclub Ah, I don’t have any but read them as a kid and wanted to try them out with my older kiddos. Yes! Oh, and read the forward or epilogue or whatever of Raptor Red. It ties in directly to Jurassic Park. Robert Bakker, the author, was a consultant on the movie. Yes the Raptor perspective/focus is pretty neat. He also throws in some of his more controversial theories, such as how dinosaurs died off. The book’s significance goes far beyond the entertainment value. IMO.
Congrats on the new shelves!
Thanks so much! Super chuffed with 'em

Great shelf, awesome books! I'm envious :)
Thanks! 😊
Just subscribed because you have the Animorphs series. Nice list. I notice the JP hoodie, have you read Raptor Red?

Sweet. I'll keep an eye out for in the bookstores nearby, the cover looks familiar it may be in one Ive seen.
The Meg movies are great fun I won't hear any slander!
I didn't mean to disparage them haha I love the meg movies, particularly the second, it was so much fun.
@@BenjaminsBookclub no you didn’t disparage them, you’re absolutely right they rule!
I've had Kings of the Wyld on my list for a while. 500+ pages always scares me. 😬 Clearly, I need to get around to reading it at some point though.
I adored it, found it so heartwarming and funny.
