Filmmakers tried to make movie about Pilecki's story but his family said: no, because director tried to change some basic very important facts about Pilecki's story. Witold Pilecki was Polish, he was patriot, he was catolic but filmmakers tried to make the movie with his story but not about polish catolic and patriot, but about some Jewish guy. It would no longer be Pilecki's story.
