I definitely don't believe the story in the bible but I do think some kind of event happened on earth a very long time ago and as it got passed on from generation to generation the story changed. The epic of Gilgamesh also has a story of a flood event and that's much older than that of the bible. The story of the bible probably comes from that. So basically we don't really know what happened back then because we don't have enough evidence to prove that these events happened the way it is written about.
We all know how stories change over time by people.

@@kumarsathya250 oh.. you have completely misunderstood what I was trying to convey. I was merely mentioning that I hadn't encountered anyone who has used this new discovery (ocean thing) to support Noah's flood in the bible.
In a debate between Matt Dilahunty and a creationist, the creationist claimed a large part of the water that had 'flooded' earth had gone 'under' the earth.
In the light of this debate, I anticipated those creationists to return with the argument.
However, I didn't see that happen or at least haven't come across such an instance

In Daniel, the king “saw a tree of great height at the centre of the earth … reaching with its top to the sky and visible to the earth’s farthest bounds.” If the earth were flat, a sufficiently tall tree would be visible to “the earth’s farthest bounds,” but this is impossible on a spherical earth.

@@kumarsathya250I see😂you just want to copy paste the message everywhere without understanding the context
Well I'm going to copy paste my answer too
The claim seems to have an underlying assumption that it is impossible to be "fixed" and "immovable" and yet orbit around the sun. But the fact is, the earth has proven itself to be fixed and immovable:
      • The earth is fixed and immovable in relation to its orbit around the sun. Have you ever known the earth to "unfix" itself and "move" itself out of its orbit around the sun? It doesn't happen, because the earth is fixed and immovable in relation to its orbit around the sun.
      • The earth also is fixed and immovable in relation to us. There has never been a single day in which we had no place to stand, because the earth unfixed itself and moved itself out from under our feet.
The earth has always been fixed and immovable, both in relation to us and in relation to its orbit around the sun. In fact we've learned to take it for granted that the sun will shine during the day and that there will ground for us to stand on when we awake in the morning.

@@elrey5477 What did I copy paste? anyway Bible never said the 'immovable' is in relation to Sun. Also if everything on earth could see something above, it clearly assumed to be flat. Use your brain a little. My first question still remains. How God created Day & Night on earth before Sun and Moon? If you start justifying stupidity in Bible, you will never be able to do that.
