Hey Notser! Thank you for blowing up my New Orleans with your Flint! In all seriousness thanks for making a video on this ship, I was pretty sure I was gonna buy her, but I'd like to get an opinion from someone who not only do I trust, but I feel, personally, knows most people are average 51-52% win rate. Who knows that he has to tell people what to do, and what to look out for. I'd like to thank you not only for blowing up my New Orleans, but also for improving my skill in this game.
I am so happy they brought this ship back, well worth the $35. The hydro is so strong if used properly. You did a great job using it at 10:07. I am glad I have a 15-point captain on my Anshan that I was able to use with Lo Yang. Double concealment is very strong on this ship.
Watch some of Flamu's many playthroughs of the Lo Yang - he's a master of this ship and hunting enemy DDs with it. If the HA is rarely used, you are not playing the ship to its unique strengths.
The rudder shift on this is actually 2.7 seconds, not 8.5, and that's even without the rudder shift upgrade. About the hydro - sail up to an enemy DD, drop smoke at 4-3km and let him come to you. You can see him and his torps without anyone else spotting for you no problem while he can't do anything. Then shell and torp him. Takes a little bit of practise but works great. Hydro makes this such a great DD hunter.
I'm really liking my Lo Yang. It has great potential. I value speed in torps, and will sacrifice range to ambush larger ships. I hardly use the hydroacustic search feature, because I don't use it as a small cruiser, as you would with a Kiev. With a captain that has the decreased detection skill, it would be used at Tier 8 just like the Fujin is at Tier 5. You just wait: I'll send you a replay when I finally get it set up right.
2 differences between the Lo Yang and the Benson. Lo Yang has 0.2 better base detection and the benson has 800 HP more. 0.2 doesnt sound like much, but it brings you that little bit closer to the IJN destroyers. It makes it really hard for Fubukis and Mutsukis to avoid you detecting them. Hatsaharus and Kageros still might have a chance if they are lucky, but most IJN captains will play more conservatively when they know there is a gun boat out there they only have seconds avoiding if they want to stay hidden. I play the Lo Yang alot, and love it! The hydro makes up for the gun you loose. I have set up mine as a close quarter brawler, with 5.8 detection, fast torpedos and extra health and hydro its really hard to win a cap from me. If the enemy smokes up Ill do what you did, sneak up and kill them before they have a clue what is going on. And the hydro gives you a clear advantage if you are brawling with any DD. Hard to take a torpedo at close range if you see them the second they are lauched. And since many of the caps have small islands DDs hide behind, you can use the hydro to spot them on the other side. Most DDs in a cap will panic if they are spotted and run, often straight into my high speed torpedos. And one thing you didnt do, when you sit in smoke and spam HE I use hydro if someones close. The torps people send into smoke is easily avoided and you will see anyone pushing into the smoke before they see you. Of course, still got to watch out for the german super hydro and radar.
it's hurts my brain to keep trying to think of the reason why that Benson that was in smoke didn't even try to move when he was getting ripped by hydro notser
I'm pretty certain the quoted "rudder shift time" is already from full to one side all the way to full the other side. So usually you'll be looking at half that number.
Notser style torpedo beats. at the end I got a story. a Nagato was shooting at and afk colorado. I was in the back clicking the LMB as fast as humanly possible. the Nagato left him with 7 hp left. and I got the kill. ☺
Does Benson carry HA now? Lo-Yang's HA is easily countered. Torp into the smoke and kill them or drive them into visibility. If you're in a DD and HA spotted by someone in smoke, you only have to charge in like 2km to get into visible range. Presumably the ship using HA will be stationary as well, so the kill is easy. On top of being easily countered, you will seldom be in a position to advantageously use HA in the Lo-Yang. It's just a gimmick to sell "ships". Noobs dish out cash to zip all the way up to t10 without knowing basic tactics. I wreck their kabas all day.
Hey notser nice review when the ship goes on sale, thanks :) In the opening you wrote 60 knots speed for 9.2 km range torpedoes, however wiki and other youtubers state they are 55 knots. Also do you know if they would add chineese tree into pan asia? I want to buy high tier premium destroyer that can eventually train captains. (I somewhat regret buying blyskawica when I learnt Polish navy won't come )
I ran into the Flint in my games today. It is the modified Atlanta. Has 2 less main turrets. What is interesting is it has smoke. Notser do you think you can get your hands on Flint?
You got to learn to navigate by minimap! - before almost pulling a double notser due to tunnelvision And about the fifth turret, I usually go for the C-Hull on my Mahan just to troll people. In my experience it barely makes a difference during firefights, unless you are on low health and dbs are prowling the skies. Then I am glad for my c-hull.
7:50 *Idea for penalty to BB players that sit as far back as possible and attempt to "snipe"* WG should implement a *Tar and Feather skin* - that after so many battles of barely moving, all your BBs are covered with pitch and feathers! Red Yellow and white feathers to be precise, so they look like Foghorn Leghorn turned into A Battleship! Perhaps even put a BEAK at the bow of the Ship! And the only way to "Wash Away" this demeaning skin is to play at least 5 battles in BBs where you actually move up past 1/4 of the map, and actually tank damage as a BB SHOULD! Now obviously if you are in a slow BB and your team just kills everything before you can even tank much damage let alone deal much, it will still count as long as you move at least, say, 10km or so, perhaps more, perhaps less - I should look into how much I move in the MANY battles I took screen shots of the results from - just to see how much I did move on average. In the end, I think it would be a hilarious way to endorse BBs moving up and doing what they were built for!
Lo-Yang is essentially a C hull benson. They both pull 38 knots. Surface detection is superficially different. Benson=7.4km Lo-Yang=7.2km, aerial detection is 3.6km on both. Biggest difference, other than Lo-Yangs HA search, are the torpedoes. Benson with 122 second torp reload while Lo-Yang has 109 second torp reload. The Benson's Mk15 mod. 3 torps have a max damage of 16,633 while the Lo-Yang's Mk15 mod. 0 torps have a max damage of 11,600. Everything else is (supposedly) identical. It does seem that primo ships get some kind of RNG preference, but that's another story. Much rather have the punchier torps for free, than dish out cash for .2km extra concealment and an extremely situational HA search.
just had a fight against a benson, that thing has serious dps man, that little guy shredded my cleveland to bits with like 2k damage salvos every 3 seconds. by the time i got my 3rd salvo out he had taken 10k of my health....
being the only ship with a bow number,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, when ever i see the #14 i think of only 1 thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, PETE ROSE! ok, i admit, a long time reds fan going back to seeing pete at crosley field. call this ship the pete rose!
That Hydro trick IS evil lol, but why did he just sit there and take it? It took what 4 salvos? Did he think maybe you'd stop shooting? Anyway good game, interesting ship :)
I don't understand why you don't play with propulsion modification 2 instead of steering gears modification 2. If you're choosing to play with hydro sitting in your smoke it could be usefull to have a better accelaration to avoid torpedos if you're hydro show you a wall of torpedos or if your hydro turn off.
3:38 "About 8.5 seconds to go to the other side". Ooh, Notser, you and your numbers :D Judging the rudder shift from the video, it's more like 3 seconds, man. lol. According to the WoWS wiki, Lo Yang's rudder shift is about 2.7. No idea where you came up with 8.5
Notser I suppose you're not allowed to hint at what it's going to be? :) Surely it's too fast (the 8.5 secs) to be a Scharnhorst. Sounds more like cruiser territory.
Looks like Scharnhorst's rudder is going to be stock at 14.5, obviously upgradable. I've seen where Prinz Eugen is in the files for the next update, but everyone would be seeing that now in that case. Dunkerque is very sluggish if my memory recalls. Not sure the exact numbers.
They 'ran out' of actual Russian ships ages ago, when creating the lines, and resorted to several on-paper only versions I believe. Since then they have released at least 3 more 'Russian' ships as premiums.
+Notser taking nothing away from your game play video of course just wish wargaming would speed up 1. the German bbs 2. the royal navy deserves a place within the game not to be left with 2 let's be honest quite shitty ships (I own both I know) lol
As a Chinese speaker I appreciate your effort to not butcher the name pronunciation Notser (well I think you do put in maximum effort for all the non-English names) :)
One trick get the Tier 3 faster torpedoes for the 20% distance deduction you get 60km Torps with a 7.3km Torp range you get that extra distance and your Torps hit a bit faster. Or if you use the other ones 4.8km Torps with wicked speed but you need to get in close but that 73km Torps good luck avoiding those and they hit HARD. But its more for bravely stupid captains. ^_^
Notser u forgot another thing again in your captain's skill because the original torpedo at 9.2km is at 55 knots. If u used torpedo acceleration in your captain's skill it brings it to60 knots and by the way your torpedo range is not 9.2km anymore its 7.3km
+zaf Raz I don't like the idea of a review for these, I haven't played enough of the ship to review it. These are just my initial impressions with the ship in a handful of games
I think he was joking that, from your wording, you could be saying that it is your impressions that are Premium, rather than impressions of a Premium ship.
I can testify, the reaction, or lack there of showed by the Mahan in this video is more the rule than the exception. So many DDs stays stationary for the first 3-4 salvos when spotted in smoke like the Mahan did. Its so powerful, yes I would say OP.
Raphael Hug Well, Im not sure he gave up, I think people just dont get that they are spotted and think its blind fire until the second or third salvo hits. He started moving after about 4 salvos, probably when he understood that he was lit up by someone.
The in-game chat mentioned the Mighty Jingles. I say that man would do better by giving up his fancy schmancy complicated intro montage. In contrast, Notser comes up as the no nonsense and straight to the point sort of guy. See: Price signal. I express my choice with Notser for his notion of commitment toward efficiency. I get what I am looking for without unnecessary and time consuming "wows" and shenanigans. What I am looking for is success stories part time intermixed with humbling analysis of failures. Because, some say, people who don't make mistakes are never learning.
jakekillify Many nations recognize Taiwan as a sovereign nation. While, yes, technically correct, Taiwan is the Republic of China, it is far easier to refer to it as Taiwan to avoid confusion with the People's Republic of China. The US would have never sold a ship to a communist nation.
+Jiyang Jin The sale of a few ultra common transport helicopters in recent times in no way, shape, or form compares to the sale of a warship to a communist country in the 50s.
IMHO, when Taiwan admits it's National Party was selling out China under the Unequal Treaties, and that liberation from Japan meant enslavement back under Western powers for cheap labor and resources, then we can talk about making up with China properly and peacefully. Communism was the "liberator revolutionary" movement against colonialism when democracy/fair trade failed to manifest despite promises. When Taiwan acknowledges this, that is when Taiwan goes from participating in the deception of post WW2, to freeing itself to unite all of China as one again. By now, the world under our domination should clearly show our true intentions. Cough..Wall Street,.... cough cough. Globalist Politicians cough cough..
cheap labor and resources, Isn't that what China is about even today, under the communists? LOL Dollar store toys being manufactured there. Foreign companies reaping the benefits of cheap labor and soiling the country's environment. KMT or Communist, same shit.
Yes, it is. But the difference to the Chinese is, they have control instead of the West. They can use our hellbent determination on using this method of economics for their benefit as if they hadn't used slave wages, they would've never been able to get our industry over there to begin with. A kind of necessary evil to them. The goal was learning all they could about our technology and manufacturing/engineering methods. Then, once they got that down, they could start doing more for themselves, and grow their way up in a way we'd never let them under the old "colonialist" style of governing. Ironically they took a page out of the Japanese playbook post WW1, where the Japanese practiced: "Eastern culture, Western technology". That's why Japan was so tough to beat in WW2. So, in the end, China goes along with our neo-slave system under their management in the shorter term, so that in the longer term, they will extend capitalism across their country and now they have a middle class nearly half the size of the U.S. population. Still, their system has problems, but from their prospective, at least they have control in those problems.
They have control instead of the West. Are we sure of that? Say the west pulls out of China, then what happens? Use some other 3rd world country as cheap labour instead of China. China has almost no sense of innovation/creativity on a technological side. The government has been sacrificing the people for a militaristic style economy. Education to the people isn't a priority. Meanwhile China's neighbouring countries are on the top of the game in terms of technology. Korea is the leader of silicon chips with Samsung LG paving the way. They have a recognized brand of automobiles in the global market. Japan, no need to say anything here about them. Taiwan too is a leader in the mobile and silicon chip industry. And China with 1.3 billion brains barely has a recognized global leading brand. Innovation and creativity comes with a system where education is valued. People are flocking all over the world because they aren't able to get into the limited spaces in their post secondary institutes. So by taking advantage of the people and sacrificing the health of the land for the sake of western capitalism, this isn't selling out? It's the same shit LOL
You need to read up on what's going on in China beyond propaganda. The issues you cite only exist in that China is a much larger country in population than all of the other nations you mentioned combined. They have a land mass they have to develop that is second only to Russia as well. As far as developing an internationally recognized car brand, China is already on track to do just that, but there's one problem they face the other countries you compared them to didn't at the time of their international launches... a global glut in automobiles, and a weakening of the global economic condition. This is not the optimum time to go "global" and compete for essentially a dwindling pool of market share. The U.S. automakers (in name only of course) would already be dead if it wasn't for overseas sales in Asia, where the economy has been stronger. But those days are numbered, as China races against time to replace it's shrinking trade with us due to our inability to keep up consumer demand. asia.nikkei.com/magazine/20170427/Business/Chinese-automakers-come-into-their-own Pretty much sums up what I said China is doing in learning from others and adapting it quickly for themselves. Since the automotive market has gone global, and many platforms are being shared across borders as automakers join forces, China is doing the same. Joining with fellow Japanese, Korean, European and even American experienced automakers, learning what it can, then breaking off and applying to their own homegrown brands. China has done by conservative estimates, 100 years of 19th-20th Century American style Industrial/Educational revolution in 25 years. And even with that, having a population pushing 1.4 billion, at best maybe 500 million have seen a direct impact of it on their lives. Simply put, China is working with a handicap others didn't have. But don't dare sleep on them. They are much further along than you think.
Funny thing with the Lo Yang, it's not just a Benson, it's THE USS Benson
As an Australian it makes me laugh when you say '"A' Hull"
Notser , let me surprise that your pronunciation of "洛陽" is almost correct
hope you can have fun in this Benson class destroyer
It's not just a "Benson", it's *the* "Benson".
I LOL'd so hard when you said that's the most evil thing you can do. Oh man, that was hilarious using smoke AND hydro. Very nice sir!
I am so happy they brought this ship back, well worth the $35. The hydro is so strong if used properly. You did a great job using it at 10:07. I am glad I have a 15-point captain on my Anshan that I was able to use with Lo Yang. Double concealment is very strong on this ship.
It's a C hull benson with HA that rarely gets used. 35 well wasted.
Waiting for an answer you pathetic piece of shit.
rage much?
Only on rude fucktards like yourself.
Watch some of Flamu's many playthroughs of the Lo Yang - he's a master of this ship and hunting enemy DDs with it. If the HA is rarely used, you are not playing the ship to its unique strengths.

Awesome Game Bro.
Loved the way You used your Hydro inside smoke to kill that DD .. LOL
You just wait: I'll send you a replay when I finally get it set up right.
lol "A hull" sorry, I couldn't resist!
;)
Pretty accurate pronunciation on the name of the ship!
"He was quite literally: boned." -Notser, 2016.
2 differences between the Lo Yang and the Benson. Heard it like "Most of that damage came from torpedoes, notserprised of course."
Heck of a game Notser!
notser nailed the ship's name pronunciation
Have you ever seen the "other" Atlanta? Its called the Flink, saw it ingame today.
So many premiums, my wallet is going to hurt (scharnhorst, dunkerque and eugen coming). But they are lovely ships, so I need to have em :p
it's hurts my brain to keep trying to think of the reason why that Benson that was in smoke didn't even try to move when he was getting ripped by hydro notser
I wish I had some of your luck with torps - too funny :)
I'm pretty certain the quoted "rudder shift time" is already from full to one side all the way to full the other side. So usually you'll be looking at half that number.
The rudder shift time shown in-game is the time for the rudder to go from full starboard to full port (or vice-versa).
On Lo-Yang, this is 2.7 seconds.
It is reference to another ship that I'm testing ;)
Notser style torpedo beats. at the end I got a story. a Nagato was shooting at and afk colorado. I was in the back clicking the LMB as fast as humanly possible. the Nagato left him with 7 hp left. and I got the kill. ☺
Notser, your pronunciation of the Lo Yang at the beginning of the video is pretty good 👌
:)
Sweet game, Keep them coming.
would u recommend last stand or faster torp reload on Benson?
last stand is really necessary when you play in american dd.
indeed
Last Stand, all day everyday.
last stand
get last stand first. then once you get CE you can go and get the faster torp reload skill( but getting the 17th skill point takes a while).
you can pop smoke and use hydro so you can see through smoke so that you dont need people to spot for you and fire at targets
Notser, have you ever considered engaging that Island Collision avoidence system in settings ? I think you would benefit from that ; )
+OldSchool Gaming lol, gotta have full control!
You should try the Lo Yang after 0.6.6 again. They buffed her fastest torp range up to 6.7 km and now she has German hydro search ...
that trick on taking that mahan thou..
I run the 4 gun Benson with defensive fire. I regularly break up carrier strikes, and on
Does Benson carry HA now? Lo-Yang's HA is easily countered. Torp into the smoke and kill them or drive them into visibility.

+Holden Craig I think HA is unique to the Lo Yang
hey Notser, I also buyed the yo lang....what should I take for the 4 captain skill? super intended?good play
notser why were you using AP against BB? i mean i have tried it but it isnt effective as HE for DD
Hey notser nice review when the ship goes on sale, thanks :)
In the opening you wrote 60 knots speed for 9.2 km range torpedoes, however wiki and other youtubers state they are 55 knots.
Also do you know if they would add chineese tree into pan asia? I want to buy high tier premium destroyer that can eventually train captains. (I somewhat regret buying blyskawica when I learnt Polish navy won't come )
Just got the Loyang, shld I get concealment of acquisition for the 5th module
that was GLORIOUS !!!!!!
Notser can you do a secondary build for tirpitz? thanks.
Yeah, I'll weave that into the mix for the future
thanks.

Notser, what do you think of the German BB's so far?
I like the design, I do not have access to the regular line atm though
Holy Hall3elujah!.. Thank you!
Are there any differences in speed, concealment and other specs between the Benson and the Lo Yang? (except the consumables)
Lo yang is faster
how much faster? the rest in identical?
+Muchas Gracias idk if the benson is 37.5 or 35 but faster than Ijn at that tier
+Muchas Gracias I will check my overlays and post any differences I see
Lo-Yang is essentially a C hull benson. They both pull 38 knots. Surface detection is superficially different. Benson=7.4km Lo-Yang=7.2km, aerial detection is 3.6km on both.

being the only ship with a bow number,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
when ever i see the #14 i think of only 1 thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
PETE ROSE!
ok, i admit, a long time reds fan going back to seeing pete at crosley field.
call this ship the pete rose!
What's the difference between the A-Hull and B-Hull?
B hull gets about 3k more HP and a little more AA.
That Hydro trick IS evil lol, but why did he just sit there and take it? It took what 4 salvos? Did he think maybe you'd stop shooting?
Anyway good game, interesting ship :)
When you're placed in that position there is very little he could do to save himself
"or a ahole" lol... A-hull i think it was...
So.....If a Lo Yang crashes into an Island..... would it be Not'Sing?
+keeblerorc lol
Can u do 1 of Atago???
11:54 "I do have an island protecting myself from the Mexico"
Make WoWS Great Again :^)
as usual good video :)
I don't understand why you don't play with propulsion modification 2 instead of steering gears modification 2. As a Taiwanese, I think you pronounce this name very good! Here is the name you can put as title page. "洛陽"
Thanks :)
Lo yang is a great ship
3:38 "About 8.5 seconds to go to the other side". Ooh, Notser, you and your numbers :D Judging the rudder shift from the video, it's more like 3 seconds, man. lol. According to the WoWS wiki, Lo Yang's rudder shift is about 2.7.

Lo-Yang's stock rudder shift is 2.7s. Turret traverse is 5.3s. Top speed 38knts. Lo-Yang does everything fast :p
still waiting for German bbs.. ho hum
+Gareth Fairclough yeah maybe they will run out of Russian ships soon lol can't believe that the royal navy has such a poor showing in this game ....
They 'ran out' of actual Russian ships ages ago, when creating the lines, and resorted to several on-paper only versions I believe. Since then they have released at least 3 more 'Russian' ships as premiums.

If war thunder ever comes out with ships hopefully it will accelerate wargaming's development team.
Lo yang can't be a training ship for USN captain right?
nop
Gabrul Dooh nah
Notser can you do a New Orleans Video?
I'll try to get a video on her
Still waiting for this to come out in Asia server
As a Chinese speaker I appreciate your effort to not butcher the name pronunciation Notser (well I think you do put in maximum effort for all the non-English names) :)
I try to, can't always hit the pronunciation but I give it a try at least
Notser do u get free premium ships on press accounts
+Xxeinty Xx I get it all unlocked on the press account. I prefer to have it on my main account though. Requires investment but it is worth it for me
NOTSER you cant say a-hole there are children seeing your videos :P
lol owba.... if I'm correct it should be A-oba no?
no, Notser pronounced it correctly.
Owba is correct? Reference link?
IconProduction01 forvo.com/word/aoba/ and forum.worldofwarships.com/index.php?/topic/7664-guide-to-pronouncing-japanese-warship-names/
IconProduction01 or if you want a more "weeb" source, here: en.kancollewiki.net/wiki/Aoba#Quote she says her name in the Introduction.
Well then... I stand corrected sir. Kinda sucks though in my opinion, I don't like how Owba sounds :(
11:12 *Knawledge!*
haha
I am glad I subbed you Noster, You show me to be the ass I am!
haha
And I spelt you nick wrong!
A Lo Yang killed my Bucky in smoke. Thought I was getting hit by radar until I realised what it was. I did not enjoy it.
Wow a destroyer with hydro is evil
9.2km is 55 knots
Once In my South Carolina I made a last stand against the whole enemy team and I won with 1 health left
hard to believe
+Kolopomo Kolopomo I made them kill each other by boredness
Wow, that ship needed to get to a port fast!
+Notser I was just going around the map border and they were trying to find me so they got super bored and killed each other so I just mopped them up
+Husky The Dinosaur they just capped
Notser u forgot another thing again in your captain's skill because the original torpedo at 9.2km is at 55 knots. If u used torpedo acceleration in your captain's skill it brings it to60 knots and by the way your torpedo range is not 9.2km anymore its 7.3km
+Ethan Fong I didn't use torpedo acceleration
then why is it 60 knots its suppose to be 55 default
u said that it was 60 knots
I made a mistake with the speed of the torpedoes, it is 55 knots for my build in that game
ok :D
wat he said
Sometimes I wonder if Notser does reviews or over glorifies his above average gameplay skills all day. I mean look at the title.
+Notser Ah lol sorry then. Carry on. I need new glasses.
+British Knight aka MiniNinja1 Eh.
I ran into him few times. One time I was in an Amagi and gave his Tirpitz a full broad side salvo as he was peaking out behind an island. XD
Typical battleships, being chickens :p
Nice pronunciation
Notser you just started a war between Chinese and Taiwanese subscribers for saying "a Taiwanese destroyer".
lol
Wait wtf it has hydro😳
I can testify, the reaction, or lack there of showed by the Mahan in this video is more the rule than the exception. So many DDs stays stationary for the first 3-4 salvos when spotted in smoke like the Mahan did. Its so powerful, yes I would say OP.
That Mahan gave up in that smoke before Notser's first salvo even said hello...
Raphael Hug Well, Im not sure he gave up, I think people just dont get that they are spotted and think its blind fire until the second or third salvo hits. He started moving after about 4 salvos, probably when he understood that he was lit up by someone.
michael durga yea
The in-game chat mentioned the Mighty Jingles. I say that man would do better by giving up his fancy schmancy complicated intro montage. In contrast, Notser comes up as the no nonsense and straight to the point sort of guy. See: Price signal. I express my choice with Notser for his notion of commitment toward efficiency. I get what I am looking for without unnecessary and time consuming "wows" and shenanigans. What I am looking for is success stories part time intermixed with humbling analysis of failures. Because, some say, people who don't make mistakes are never learning.

Taiwan numbe one!!
Its not Taiwanese at all. It is USS Benson, and its about as american as you can get without having a flyby by a bald eagle XD
She's the Ex-USS Benson. She was sold to Taiwan after the war, therefore she is a Taiwanese ship.
sgthop Well if you are speaking legally, then she is a CHINESE ship. As Taiwan is legally still part of china. And is not recognised independently.
jakekillify Many nations recognize Taiwan as a sovereign nation. While, yes, technically correct, Taiwan is the Republic of China, it is far easier to refer to it as Taiwan to avoid confusion with the People's Republic of China. The US would have never sold a ship to a communist nation.
Not really, U.S sold a dozen of blackhawk to China.
+Jiyang Jin The sale of a few ultra common transport helicopters in recent times in no way, shape, or form compares to the sale of a warship to a communist country in the 50s.
Taiwan #1
But those days are numbered, as China races against time to replace it's shrinking trade with us due to our inability to keep up consumer demand.
asia.nikkei.com/magazine/20170427/Business/Chinese-automakers-come-into-their-own
Pretty much sums up what I said China is doing in learning from others and adapting it quickly for themselves.
