Maybe this got 5 million views but it was not really that great tbh. It was way too long! Yea there were a few nice touches but he could have made it half the length and his audience would’ve been appreciative I’m sure
I agree. If I’d been on a (pre-wedding) feedback call with him, I would have also encouraged him to balance out all of his praise of his new son-in-law with some kind words to his daughter. I have no doubt that he loves her, but there’s not a lot of bride in his father of the bride speech. I would have also encouraged him to add a few nice words about (or to) his wife. He has a joke at her expense, but no other mention.
Speech was way too long. He was like a rent-a-father speech character to entertain. Typically an over-bearing parent whom a daughter is cringing waiting for an embarrassing anecdote to be revealed. Father was hogging the limelight too.
